Hi everyone!
I finally went to a consultation with Mya, and the patient co-ordinator was lovely. I didn’t get to meet with a surgeon unfortunately so I will book in to do this, but I’m just looking for some advice..my boobs at the moment are a 34c so not massive, they have a bit of an annoying gap between them and aren’t as full as I’d like. As my boobs aren’t huge and aren’t tooo low, I was hoping to have implants but the co-ordinator has suggested a lift too.
Have any of you been told this and then anything different by the surgeon or vice versa – so anyone been told they may need a lift then it turned out you could just have implants? Or have you had a lift plus implants? I’m really nervous of the fact the whole nipple is removed – very squeamish!
I will need to see what the surgeon says too but just looking for some personal experiences I could possibly relate to! thanks x
Hello I am booked in for uplift but with implants. I have lost four stone and lost volume. I have one breast bone slightly lower apparently so have a gap. My boobs would go down to a 34c with just the uplift and I have always been a d or dd. I saw four different companies before choosing Mya and didn’t find any of them as good. I would book to see the surgeon mine is Dr Mouhnir in Leeds. He was amazing and very honest and listened to what I wanted. He told me what cup I would be without implants and taped me up to show me the size visually which was good as I would have been disappointed with the size withou the implants. From what I hear all the surgeons are fab no matter where they are based!
Hay. I have had 3 children so after number 3 I was left with flat empty boob. Before I had my boobs dun with Dr traynor. I was wearing a B cup. I was 1st booked with Dr russo and he was goin to give me a nipple up lift and a implant.. but he was supended from practice! !! So I was just put with Dr traynor. He said I didn’t need a uplift just a different implant. I went for the biggest I was a offered 415 because I thought I needed it to fill the skin. I would say I am 80% happy. I feel like the implant should sit higher. But then I suppose like u want sure about a full up lift. See as many sergeons as u can really get to no how u want them
Thank you for replying. I am four days after surgery with Dr Mounhir now. He is completely amazing. I am yet to see the real results as my boobs have not dropped yet. Fingers crossed for me all looks ok. Xxxx
ASHLEA I have never had an op and I am much older lol. This was a six month research process for me and no company came close to Mya. I was squeamish too about the removal of my nipple but if I am honest the pain is nothing like I expected and very manageable. Already the results are amazing. I had a massive gap as one breast plate was lower and I would have been a 34c without implants and this looked small as I had always had bigger boobs. I am so pleased I had the uplift with implants already and I am only 4 days post surgery!!! This op and Mya hav already changed my life and confidence.
Thanks for your replies, sorry I haven’t logged on lately! Amanda, I really want to see Dr traynor as I have seen a fair bit of his work and he seems excellent the only thing is I live in Bournemouth and I don’t know how I would be able to travel to him! Baybcee thanks for your reply so glad you are happy with your op! What is the pain like?! I am worried as have just turned 22 and it’s such a shame I dont have normal boobs for my age 🙁 uplift is a big thing as I’m petrified of the scars and not being able to breast feed if I choose to!
