Hey girlies, I’ve been on here quite a while and just wanted to know if anyone has an underacrive thyroid and has any tips on losing weight?

I’m going to book my ba for November, but hope to lose another stone and a half by then but find it really difficult due to my thyroid problems.

I’ve lost 50lb in the past few year but just seem to have stopped.

I need to definitely lose the weight before the op so any tips would be great 🙁

I eat super healthy but wondered if certain exercises would help me lose more…

    Sorry for going on…. X

I’m underactive and take 75mcg a day of levothyroxine. I’ve found the only way is making sure I’m bang on target with my medication, same time every day and all that. Also eating low in carbs, walking a lot, drinking enough water and NOT snacking throughout the day. I have soup for lunch and a main meal, that’s it all day, every day. I have a treat at weekends of course! But the meds are the most important part to dropping pounds xxxx

Also sorry! I did the 30 day shred . It’s a DVD can get it from Amazon for 5 quid. It’s really really good as mainly cardio and some strength. But great for burning up energy. Cut out excess sugar, I have no sugar added to anything, tea/coffee/cereal and cut out coke replace for diet. I found I dropped pounds really quickly with small changes xx

Yeah I seem to do all that 🙁 I’m on 200mcg a day and take them at the same time, I never miss them, and I basically eat salad veg and chicken 24/7 haha

Yeah Ive done the 30 day shred, I’ll just have to try and do more at home and at the gym

I suppose I’ll just have to power on through ha

    Thank you 🙂 xxx

That’s ok hun, But if I can be honest, judging by your picture, you look great! Honestly, you look fit and healthy, I know that doesn’t change how you feel (or else why would half of us be here haha) but keep doing what your doing, just don’t stress about it. Good luck, I can’t think of anything else it’s all I really do. Xxxx
