Hi Girls,
I have been told that having a BA makes you be sick after the surgery and this can last a couple of days. They said it is not due to the anasetic it happens to everyone who has a BA. Anyone got any advise on this or know about it? Is this even true? xx
I really hope not as I have emetophobia 🙁 Really need to know the answer to this now xx
I wasn’t sick at all. Didn’t even get a nauseated feeling! Xx
Yes girls i was a sick as a dog straight after my ba 🙁 up to 24 hrs later. I have had 4 other operations and this has never happened before. Well worth it tho to have a nice pair of boobs lol Xx
I felt really sick after my BA….: I was sat with a sick bowl but managed to keep it down x
My first ba i was really sick so on my 2nd I told the anaethatist and before putting me to sleep injected anti sickness into my canular and then i was fine x
I’ve never had any sickness after GA. My mum is terrible though. Just down to individual reaction to the GA on that day. Unlikely to be sick if you haven’t before after GA, but as sillymilly says, there’s always a first time! You will be fine honey x
can I add u girls getting mine in 2 month 🙂 woop
also I think everybody has a different reaction to being pout out to be honest one bay be ill after another wont be.
I wasn’t sick after mine I felt fine to be honest. I think it’s jus down to the individual , I’m sure they will give u an anti sickness tablet if u ask Hun xx
I was just mega sleepy & really cold when I just came out of theatre then boiled for the rest of the night, only felt sick as I was taking the meds after on a near enough empty stomach xx
I wasn’t sick at all. Was desperate to eat and drink with in 5 mins if waking up lol
who told you that?I was really sick but it was from the GA why would having implants out in make you nauseous its more likely to be the GA, good luck x
No sickness after BA at all and was out eating in a restaurant the same day 😀 however i have the worst upset stomach from day 3-8 PO but cos of antibiotics just didnt agree with me xx
First op I wasn’t sick at all, second I was but only because I drank more water second time and was mobile quicker, it only happened once after I went to the loo
You have been fed a myth Hun xx
I was fine! When I came round I just went straight back to sleep for 2 hours to let the anaesthetic wear off! My anesthesiologist said he always gives anti sickness through the IV anyway! Check to see what yours does when he comes to see you b4 the surgery hun! Everyone reacts differently to it xx
I wasnt sick after my BA but 3 days after the pain killers made me feel ill so they changed them then i was fine but never was actually sickhun xxx
I was sick once then they gave me an injection and was fine since!
I was sick once but felt fine. Then felt sick again they gave me injection and I was still sick again an hour later lol!
I was not sick or even nauseous and it was first time having an operation, had my op yesterday and all I got was the shakes for 20minutes and then I was fine 🙂
I felt great after mine, no sickness at all, only had sickness when I took cocodamol but wasn’t sick at all xx
I didn’t feel sick at all xx
I was completely fine, didn’t even feel sick and stayed in overnight and ate all of the lovely 3 course dinner they served me and was still fine 🙂 xxx
thanks for all your reply’s girls. I am now 5 weeks PO and I wasnt sick at all! I love my new boobs! x
I wasn’t sick at all, just SUPER thirsty haha. They must have brought me 8 pots of green tea and two jugs of water 😛 xx
I was sick so much I got readmitted with severe dehydration and had to have 12 hours of IV fluids!
I was sick every four hours from Saturday evening until Tuesday afternoon. I was told it was down to the GA and also the medication. I hated it at the time, but now over a week later, I am so happy with my new boobs, I can say pah it was just a bit of sickness! xxx
My day case turned into a overnight stay due to sickness after my ba 🙁 only lasted around 24 hours though and then I felt fine- couldn’t even keep water down though just kept throwing up 🙁 think if depends on the person on how you react to the anestetic so don’t worry too much x
