BA Done Monday How Long Be4 Look/Feel Normal!

Hi girls

I had my ba on Monday, with Mr Mahdi Manchester Lifestyle….im currently feeling very stiff and hard and finding it hard to do things. Does any1 no how long it takes for them to feel normal? as in not so hard and normal for me to move! also how long till they drop a little to look more natural. I couldnt decide between the 380 and 410, i went with the 410! yeaaah, they look great, i had unders as well. 5.1, 8.6, between 34 a/b be4……think im gona end up a nice full D possibly DD.

I was in with mr mahdi on moday too!

feeling better as the days go on but cant wait until they look/feel more nateral. i was ment to have 380 & 410 but came out with slighty different sizes (one being 420!)

think its going to be a good few weeks until the true results show!

BTW did Mr mahdi come and see you before you left? i think he forgot about me ( was in the last room 105) 😥

Hi there, yes Mr Mahdi did come and see me…..

I think one of the nurses got us mixed up, when i got back to room after BA i asked which size i got (I asked him to do the 410 but if they looked silly do smaller ones so he assured me he would do what looked best) anyway she said i got 2 dif sizes! i said er are you sure? he didnt tell me be4 that he was putting 2 dif sizes in, she said yes but il go and check. I said yes please…..anyway other nurse came in and had notes and assured me i had the 410’s. Mr Mahdi knew about the mix up when he came to see me, because obviously i was a bit shocked to hear i had got 2 dif sizes…..i said the nurse obviously got mixed up!

Yeah i carnt wait to feel normal again, u no have a gud sleep and do normal things without thinkin how to bend etc. I have work Monday as well, nothing strenuous though and only work mornings.

Were u a day case? i was in the lift with sum1 when we were leaving it could of bin you?

yes that was me in the lift, feeling rather bad at the time though! Felt fine after BA but when i stood up i was feeling sick and dizzy (maybe all the food i had when i came round).

It wouldnt surprise me if they got us mixed up i had a total of 3 nurses throughout the day. I also asked what sizes he put in me and the nurse didnt even know, so she went off to check my notes. The nurse was concerned because one was swelling alot more than the other, then i explained he said that i was getting different sizes, she got Mr mahdi in just to check that it was ok……. he came in felt it and then said it was ok, then never spoke to him after this.

Im back in work on Moday too, wish i had another week just to relax.

Cant wait to get the dressings off, think they are one of the worst things of all! Getting them changed/taken off on wednesday.

Aw how have u bin with the antibiotics? i was sooo sick had to stop them they didnt agree with me, i just stuck to the paracetamol the codine made me funny as well……… now im ok with nothing.

Yeah i had 3 nurses as well, one that went through admission and then 2 others when i came back from theatre. It was the older one that wasnt sure i mean they should be familiar with what we are getting shouldnt they. The young one was nice though.

I nooo i could so do with bit more time off but suppose have to try & get back to normal, i have 2 girls as well bu they have bin great helping. Im back thursday for dressings.

ive been abit all over the place with the antibiotics i think, keep feeling sick and dizzy every so often. Only got one more day to take them. I had a cold when i had BA so i have to take them to try and keep any infections away! The nurse also advised me to stop taking the codine because they may have been making me feel bad too! Not taking any pain killers anymore, few pains here and there but nothing to painfull. (Mostly strange sensations which i have never felt before)

i couldnt imagine having any children to look after as well. Bet they are making your recovery alot better though, keeping you on your feet.

going to be really lazy this week and do my shopping online…. hope i dont get additcted! LOL.

Yes the nurse advised me to stop the antibiotics as i was 2 sick with them, plus i was healthy so she said if i have any worries to ring. Iv bin fine though……

My girls have bin great, my big girl no’s iv had my boobs made bigger and my little one keeps sayin “r ur boobies still sore mummy” let me see Lol……

I sooo carnt wait to have a normal shower/bath without watching the tape, and to start looking for nice bigger bra’s. Ha ha

i had mr mahdi on the 12th aswell at manchester i was in room 117, im not that happy at the moment as i dont feel big at all, i went for the 380 unders as he advised only 340 to 380 so i went for the bigger option, hope i feel better once they settle ive cried so many times i really didnt think id feel this way xx

Mary – I bet it so cute your little one asking if your ok!

I cant wait to go shoping for bra’s ive been looking, and all my friends have said that they are going to change their xmas list and buy me bra’s instead!
As for the shower im just hoping and praying that i can have one when i get back tomorrow….. will be gutted if i cant.
How was it going back into work?
I was still taking the antibiotics yesterday and was still feeling abit sick, but after the whole 10 hour shift i was ready for my bed!

lynsey – ive seen on here that people do usually get quite emotional after having BA, ive avoided watching any programs that i think may make me cry in the slightest! when i came round from the GA i looked at my boobs and thought that they would be alot bigger. Give yourself time to get used to them im sure you will start to love them!
Im sure Mr mahdi has recommended what he thinks will be best for you and for your frame.

Let me no how u go today………i carnt wait for 2mrw now get these tapes off!
Wasnt bad in work it was the driving to get here, had backache and aches down my left side (im left handed so do more, im presuming its that) but i can see an improvement evday to being normal again! Ha ha. OMG i bet you were ready for bed thats a long day especially when ur not feeling 100% normal yet.

Aw im sure u will feel better when then settle and u can wear a proper bra as well, and im sure when u look at the be4 & after pics u will see a big difference.

hello!

Im back from the clinic and everything went fine. Ive had the dressings removed and tape put n place of them. Need to keep the tape on for 5 days then i can take it off, still cant have a full shower but if i get the tape wet i just need to dry with the hair dryer. Hopefully this will give me a bit more freedom when im in the bath/shower though. I didnt really feel any pain, could just feel the tape being pulled from my skin. Ive not got full feeling back yet so i think it my change from persn to person. Dont worry about it though! It’s got to be done, LOL!

I still havent drove any where (getting the other half to run me around, he’s been great!) so i would know how it feels to drive yet, my poor little car just sat out on the drive 🙁

hi girls!!! i was in on the monday aswell room 103 (i think) i stayed over night tho and was with mr mahdi aswell. i had 380 but i dont think there as big as i wanted but still happy with them! i had my dressing changed yesterday aswell another 5 days then i can shower can not waiiiittttt!!! lol im scared to drive lost all my confidence. xxxx

just waiting for the girl from room 104….. the other half nearly walked into the wrong room when he went out to get a drink, LOL!

i was hoping that i culd have had a full shower yesterday! counting down the days now!

It went well with the nurse yesterday, didnt hurt a bit! my stitches had all dissolved so she only had to take one out from under and one from my nipple as i had a slight lift. Little tuck up he called it……just got tape on my nipples and bit under where she took the stitch out, she said take them off after 5 days have a prop shower and put more on. Do the same thing for 3 weeks, i carnt believe how good the scars look already im realy happy about that.

Oh and Victoria, im fine driving now….its just getting used to using all them muscles again that are so sore to start with.

I had the same….. got sent home with a roll of tape.

glad that the dressings are off now i feel like i can do more things. Started to wear a sport too, I tried to wear one before but i didnt know what it was pressing on and made me feel really heavy.
