BA In 6days time……

Hi first of all thanks for clicking on my forum, surgery in 6 days time I haven’t even been sent an admission time yet when do you receive it? Have they forgot about me I’ve paid costs upfront and haven’t heard anything since my consultation????
I’ve had to book a hotel for 2 nights as I’m quite far away from hospital where I live so be stopping close by then home a day after.
Also what to take with me and how does the day go I’m getting really nervous and stressed about it all as I don’t know nothing grrrr or should I ring them xx

My surgery is in 7 days time I haven’t recieved anything yet I will call them if I was you though , I’m going to call them on Thursday if I haven’t recieved anything yet x I’m taking baby wipes , a neck pillow , baggy clothes x

I had my surgery on 6th of June and didn’t receive my admission time untill midday on the 5th via email, make sure you take a phone charger, comfy clothes/dressing gown, throat sweets cause some people get a really dry throat after x

I looked at my emails last night and it’s finally came through my time is 11:30 ,
How long is the wait till you actually go down to theatre xx

Hey, I had my surgery on Sunday and was feeling exactly the same and as much as I read everyone’s experiences I think I was more worried of the ‘unknown’. But honestly don’t worry I did it on my own as my hubby had to look after the kids and everyone at the hospital was so lovely. My admission time was 8am and was going down for surgery at 9am (I was first on the list) back in my room by 10:30 and was able to leave hospital at 2:30. I didn’t take a lot of stuff with me but even what I did I didn’t need hardly any of it. A travel neck pillow has been the best for helping me sleep sat up though. Good luck!
