Back home after my BA this morning.

I was admitted at 8 this morning and I was lucky to be first down. After resting for a while and having my toast and tea (toast was like swallowing a hay bale) I felt ready to go and we left at half 1 and arrived back at 6. I’m glad I didn’t stop the night, I’d sooner be in my own home managing my own pain relief. I’m already in love with my new boobs and Mr Netri was my surgeon who did a great job. I had 500cc which was told by my pc that they would be unders but as I was being drawn up Mr Netri told me I was having overs. But anyway so far so good for the look and how I’d expect them to be this early but I won’t lie, the pain of getting up is rubbish and my back hurts soooo bad but I’m on paracetamol and ibuprofen for the time being. I have codeine too but I’ll only have them if I feel the need too. Anyway all in all it’s been a joyous day and I’m really pleased I’ve finally got them done despite my rubbish pain threshold (tattoos, piercings and pushing two kids out and I’m definitely not as hardcore as I used to be)

Thank you for sharing Claire! good luck with the recovery. In my after surgery car sheet I got it told me not to take ibuprofen 2 weeks before and not after to deal with pain because it thins the blood. Don’t know how much of this is an advisory or not but just wanted to share with you xo

Hi Lindsay I don’t have any bruising but the swelling is making my post op bra almost unbearable. Hope you recover well too. Roll on for a weeks time haha xx
