Back to work on day 4?

Hi girls . Has anyone managed to go bk to work after ba unders op on day 4? Im a call handler so do an 8 hour shift at a desk and phone . Just cannot be off sick as that will mean ive had 3 incidenta of sick ( been poorly twice) and would mean id be in trouble. Im due to have ba in 10 days and have no hols to take. Im hoping someone will tell me they managed ok despite being uncomfortable. Ive had two babies so my pain threshold is pretty good 🙂 x

I had no pain at day 4 so you should be ok if you keep on top of your painkillers and take it easy with the journey to and from work? I guess you’re kinda gonna have to be ok if your op is in 10 day sand you cant take any days off? x

Hi @Katie. I’m on day 4 and apart from the odd twinge, I’m more or less ok. I had my painkillers when I got up this morning but nothing since. If you can try and take it easy in work (no reaching for the phone), and keep on top of your painkillers, bearing in mind that co-codamol can make you drowsy, you may just be okay. xx

Hi hun day 3 and 4 was my worst day had to get signed off work day 7 I was as good as new back to normal xx

Hi katie i had overs but was back in work on day 5 had no pain i work at a desk takin calls i use a head set so no reaching for the phone take it easy xx
