Backache and being cold

I’m 10 days post op now so I’ve been sleeping upright for ten days. I’m kind of getting used to it now but in the day time after walking around for a bit my back kills! I think it’s coz I’m slightly slightly hunched still when I’m up an about. My back is burning at the top. Has anyone else got this?

Also. I’ve been shivering today and it’s quite painful on the boobs lol they feel rockkkk hard when I’m shivering. Is that how it feels for you?xx

Just read that back to myself and realised what a pointless kind of post this is but just thought I would ask xx

I shiver at night when I get in to bed and I feel like my boobs tense up and I feel like theyre going to cramp up. I havent got a burning back i dont think Though xx

I’m 7 days post op amd have the exact same my back actually gives me more pain than my boobs do! Also the same with being cold I shiver and my boobs tense up which is so painful especially through the night I wake up shivering and in agony I’m seeing the nurse tomorrow so I, going to ask about this!

I went back to work yesterday Ellie and by the time I finished at 1pm my back was killing me , I got home and took myself off to bed X I’m now taking the rest of this week off as well . It’s quite painful when you start to feel cold isn’t it , and I’m now 15 days post op and my boobs are like rocks !! Not so much painful as very sensitive – almost a tingly sensation if that makes sense !! I think it’s perfectly normal as I asked my nurse last week but I hope they soften a bit soon?

Ellie I’m the exact same, even today my back was aching and I as shivering, it makes your boobs go roak hard and you tingles through them.

Hi Ellie I’m the same!!! My back is sooooo painful i didn’t know whether it was down to carrying around the extra weight! I asked my nurse about this yesterday and she said try not to hunch and roll your shoulders when it starts to ache. Whenever I go outside they feel like bricks on my chest lol! I’ve been wearing big scarfs that hang down over them to keep them warm haha x

Hello girls, I’m exactly the same currently lay in bed with Chinese remedy heat plasters on, in so much pain with my back even when I’m lay down x

Ah sounds like a lot of us are going through it then.
My back is really bad and my boobs are pain free now lol what a turn around! I’m scared to actually get cold haha I find it quite painful when they tense up like that! I’m wearing layers of clothes to try keeping warm but my coat just about does up then coz it doesn’t accommodate well for these bigger boobs too lol. Just hope my back gets better and not any worse xx

I know exactly what you mean first week post op I felt cold constantly and when I stepped outside I was shivering and it made my boobs feel all tense!!! Not nice at all!! Keep well wrapped up xx

That’s just it! Since having them done I swear I feel cold a lot lot faster now. I’m constantly cold lol xx

Has anyone else had their hands and feet tingle when theyre cold? Xx

Oh gosh really. I don’t even know how to help my back out. Can we not even lie flat for like half an hour or something?xx

I’m 4 weeks post op so I sometimes wake up on my side but I can’t help it if I’m asleep, I’m lay flat now but it’s not doing me any good, how long is it since you have had them done x

Did you normally sleep on your side/front before surgery? The only way I’ve ever been able to sleep since a child is on my belly. I’m only 10 days post op lol I know! Impatient. If my back wernt so bad I wouldn’t mind as much xx

I’ve had so much back pain only after 3 weeks post op is it easing up!! And when I shiver I can feel my muscles like tightening around my implants haha.. Weird xx

Yeah I always slept on my side, and is everyone in as much pain with there back as me? I haven’t had a wink of sleep just dang get comfortable atall, backs in agony xx

Hey girls had op monday my back is more painful than my boobs on times!
The suegeon said its extra weight and where i was on the operating table for so long!
Im in so mych pain overall im really bloated and swollen everywhere
Struggling to get comfy
I do have cold shivers but think thats becausw of all tgw medication too

Hey Ladies, try heat lotion on your back. It’s the muscles trying to accommodate the extra weight combined with the uncomfortable sleeping position. Also warm showers. Let the warm water run down your back for ages to unloosen the tight back muscles. The whole body shivers and reacts because there’s something new in the body. Hope you all feel better soon!

@Eilish I have cold and numbness in my hands and feet which is easing off now but the first few days it was really bad to the point I couldn’t feel if I had limbs attached to me! :/

Ah what I would do for a shower! I only have a bath lol so still washing hair in the sink then have to have a shallow bath to wash the bottom half then just tip running water over the top of me. Bit of a nightmare! Just ordered a shower hose n head to get me by because no baths for 6 weeks!xx

@ELLIE, @ALIA, @AMY, @TORIHOPE, @GEORGINA @EILISH am only 5days post op, and am the same, endless backpain, colds and shivers. Its so bad, all i have is warm drinks, but still, not better. I don’t know what else to try, as am still sleeping uncomfortably upright. If anyone tries anything that works, pls let me know, as my back hurts more than the ??. Beauty is sure pain, hope it gets better for us dolls xxx

Yes its the arm aches and muscle pains that are hurting more than my boobs all my back under my arms feels like im getting spasms

@ALIA thankfully im not the only one. Seems to be a lot better today had no tingling in my hands and feet. Just wish I could get more comfortable to sleep I’m shattered haha xx

I’m not getting any sleep atal either in absolute agony with my back 🙁 xx

Today the pain is in my back under my arms and im tingling in my hands and arms

I have an electric matteress heater… Works wonders.. Also had a water bottle strapped to my back for like 2 weeks lol! Would of used my breast band if it could haha.

Alia is only a shower was an option that would be amazing but at 4 weeks post op Monday still no shower for me lol:(!! My back has eased up now glad to say, I was in chronic pain with it I would say, it’s not gone back to normal but it’s so much better. I’m still more cold than normal but I think that’s just cause our body’s are trying to recover. Also medication for earlier on in the op. I got bit by a crazy rabbit today and half my hand is flapping off so that’s my pain for today haha! Boobies are fine 🙂 had my first full nights sleep two nights ago, but before that I wasn’t sleeping until around 5:30am:(! Feeling a lot better for the sleep! Hope you guys feel better soon xx

Hi today im just feeling numb in my arms and my legs pain not so kuch in mu boobs
And the bloating in my stomach is so uncomfortable
the pain killers make ne feel drowsy and completely out of it also wherenim not getting full nights sleep im gettin headaches
Iv tried sitting up and moving about today to take the pressure off my back breathing is difficult as my chest feels so heavy!
Im eating and drinking ok though and i cant wait to take the band off and see my boobs properly hope everyone else is feeling a lot better 🙂 x

My op isn’t until April but I’m REALLY not looking forward to all this!!! Please tell me it’s all worth it? X

My back has got a lot better over the last few days 🙂 I think the showers seem to be really helping. I leave the shower on my back for about 45 mins a night. The burning right cramped feeling at the top has gone.
It’s all worth it Hun. Don’t let this thread put you off at all xx
