Bad reaction from sister

So rang my sister today, after having my consultation, shes like my best friend and i was sad to hear her disappointment. She doesn’t agree with my decision, and thinks its superficial and vain. Really upsetting because she doesnt understand the insecurity ive always had with being flat chested.

Aw chick your gunna get negative reactions towards it but its not her that feels down about how she looks, everybody says to me I look fine the way I am but this is for me not for anybody else, don’t ,let it get u down, do what makes u happy xxx

I thought she’d support me because she’s always known i’ve been insecure about it! Hopefully my mum wont have the same reaction, i’ll have to explain its for me to feel ‘normal’ and feminine, and non of them would truely know how that feels cos they all are in the booby club! lol thanks for the support :] x

Don’t let her reaction get you down hunni. Your doing this for you too make yourself feel better about your body. I got a few side remarks and people saying i was wrong in my head for going through with it. But at the end of the day i was so unhappy with my breasts after having my children whatever anyone said too me would’nt put me off and its the best thing i have done and i am so happy with my new boobs. Do what makes you happy hunni.

Oh Hun you must be so disappointed. I have to tell my sister and parents soon and I am expecting the same reaction. I told my hubby and even he couldn’t understand why, despite breast feeding two children and then boobs shrinking to less Han I had before. I thought of having this op for years and have finally had enough of hating my body. Ignore everyone’s comments. They will come round eventually and realise how much it means to you. Good luck Hun. I told my mum and she was lovely, and said to do whatever it is i need to do to feel good. So that cheered me up a lot. Hopefully my sister will come around, my older sister also had a lot of opinions but hers don’t bother me as much.

Hi Yasmeen, I know what you mean- my sister is like my best friend too. She can be really opinionated at times but that’s part of why I love her:) Anyway I was a bit nervous tell her what my plans were… To be honest she’s not Really excited but she’s accepted it, better than negative !
Bottom line is your sis is always gonna love you and she will come round chic.Xx

Thanks girls! She sent me a lovely text today apologising for acting judgy and said its made her sad to know i feel so down that i feel i need to do this so ofcourse she supports me now. So pleased :] x
