Bandages

Anyone had them off early ? Theyre making me really sore keep getting a burning sensation xxxx

I had my pre op today. Nurse explained about the bandages and said I’m to leave them on at least 24 hours but to take them off when I wanted after that, as long as you wear a good support bra straight away and don’t get your stitches wet.

I kept mine on for 24 hours…they did my head in! Bra is much more comfy xx

Ive got them horrible sticky rubber bandages gonna kill taking it off 🙁 glad i havent gotta keep it on though xxx thanks girls xxx

I managed to keep my rubber strapping on for 6 days although i trimmed them away from the top as it was August and I was getting very sweaty down my cleavage! Left loads of glue stuck to me when I took them off and I couldn’t scrub it off as peeling the rubber stuff had also left massive bruises. Gross.
How did you get on?

not took them off yet im a wimp even peeling off a plaster worried im gona pull off the dressing from my stiches , so uncomfortable with the strapping on though im gonna brave it tomorrow though without fail xxxx

its important about infection, ring your nurse hun…. she wouldn’t let me take mine off for 6 days because of infection, I was cut and bleeding from mine at the top and under my arms!! ouch! xxx

ive not removed them but i have trimmed at the very top and ive got bad marks where they had folded my skin in it , no wonder it was uncomfortable , feels so much better gonna leave it alone til i see the nurse now xxx
