Bathing???

Hi girls
I am 4wpo tomorrow. Up until now I have been showering but really want a nice relaxing bath…
Can anyone advise when it is OK to have a bath…
For some reason I have it in my head that we have to wait until our 6 weeks check… is that right?
Any advice muchly appreciated.

It depends on your incisions , how they’ve healed I was told at my 2 week check up that I could shower, but not get too much water on my incisions. Think I had a bath at around 4 weeks but just didn’t have a long soak just enough water to relax but not too much that it soaked my cuts as they could open up again x

Hey It really depends on ur surgeon I wasnt allowed to shower for four weeks but had to bathe instead. Give the nurse a call or check at ur next check up

Thanks for your help girls. My incisions are healing well. Still quite lumpy in places but no soreness or redness.
Think I will give them a call tomorrow xx
