Baths

When are we aloud to have a proper bath .the thought of it is heaven .its not the same just sat in it up to the waste lol x

How do u cope getting out the bath? I’m so emotional over not being able to do anything and still hurts to use my arms and I know I would feel so much better if could have proper wash xx

Hi caz I had mine on Monday and it’s been tough but gradually getting better what day r u Hun x there was a point where I wanted to rip them out x

I also had mine Monday Hun 26th and oh my god I don’t feel I’m getting any better in sense of pain wise ???? x

Mines just been over the last couple of days it more of a tight feeling in the morning and change from pain to a stinging burning bruised feeling . Hopefully you will be a this stage soon Hun x did you have unders too I’m still strapped up with foam tapping and a belt r u it annoying but feels really supported x

Dazzelea have you had your strapping taken off yet? I going in this coming Wednesday so nervous but excited to hoping that may help with these twinges of pains I get when I move x

Yeah I had 300cc unders and yes strapping galore all over apart from little gaps for me nipples lol and a elastic strap across the top feels so supported that still looks like I have no boobs xx

I’m the same Hun having them off on Tuesday I had 345 cc unders not with mya thou x

I feel your pain! waist size baths are so crap haha! 6 weeks for a real bath! omg that’s long! I had mine done Monday and having my breastband off ect Tuesday hopefully xx

Is it true that it’s more painful under the muscle ..???
I would just want to soak in the bath that’s going to be the hardest part for me.

I no girl s cause when your feeling crappy all I wanted to do was soak in the bath .i think your allowed to shower before that I’m having my strapping off tomoz so I’ll let you no what the nurse says about it all xx

I had under the muscle and can honestly say found the whole thing much easier than I thought. I didn’t take any pain killers when I came out as was u comfortable but not painful. Also I was allowed a shallow bath after 1 week and then after 2 weeks I was allowed to Wash normally again xx

I had a proper bath this week at only 2 weeks post!!! Oh no now I’m worried is this because of infection risk?? I have tape covering scars and when I change them it’s so painful to peel off I soaked it to help it off x

Dazzelea, have you got your strapping off now? Mine comes off tomorrow and I’m so desperate for a shower. Did they say you were aloud one? ???? xx

Hi ya girls my nurse said I could have a shower because my scar was healing well 8days P.O. that was and I asked if i could have a bath she said give it another week but only have a warm one not hot I asked why that was as I wanna soak in hat bath and she said hot water make your blood vessels expand and cause your scar to reopen xx
