Beauty therapist work help!

Hi. Any beauticians out there? I’m trying to get a job in my local spa, need the job to get finance but how long did you need off work? I’m worried to start and then tell them about my surgery. Any advise? X

@fayebrucey i am i took just under 2 weeks off but i can do up to 10 massages a day but my boss know and i can go back and just do reception work if im still in pain id defiantly take 2-3 weeks x

Oh wow that long! Don’t think they would employ me if I told them I needed that amount of time off. The job is only for 16 hours a week as its a spa in a gym so don’t think they are that busy. Gosh wish I could afford to pay out right and get a job after surgery.

Ah glad I came across this as I am to a self employed beauty therapist and I also wondered how long to take off especially with massaging and pedicures. Worried about the strain.

I have given myself a good 3wk recovery but suppose will play it by ear. Just don’t want to do cause any damage to myself.

Have you booked your surgery yet? Mine is 3rd Feb.

Hi sorry for the really late reply. No I havnt, I was waiting for some money from a house sale, I got 9k and all of it went on debts from a terrible break up 🙁 I could cry I am so desperate for an enlargement. I’m putting up a post about financing. How did your op go? Are you happy?
