    Gutted!!!
Was really hoping just to go ahead with the implants – seems like having an uplift is a really big decision. Especially as I’m 23 and would like to breast feed in the future! The cost increase doesnt help either!!
My breasts are really asymmetric, my right one is alot larger so requires the uplift more – anyone else have a similar problem?
Has anyone got pictures of going ahead with implants without a lift?

    Hi Katie!
I have a similar problem, my surgeon Dr Fiumara has said she wouldn’t operate without having the uplift as she said the results really wouldn’t be that great and actually said it would be a waste of money for me to not have the uplift done. I wasn’t happy with the additional cost either but I trust the surgeon and seen a lot of her previous uplifts with implants and they look so natural.

I’m exactly the same my asymmetry is quite bad due to constant yo-yo weight loss, I’m gonna be having 400cc in one and then 325/350 in the other, but she’s ordered so many implants as she isn’t sure what will go under the muscle until on the day. I’m only 24 so had the worry of not being able to breastfeed either but my confidence is just so rock bottom right now I guess its a gamble I’m just gonna have to take.

I went and saw several different surgeons too who all told me I needed an uplift, so you could ask around hun and see what others say xx

    Hi Katie
I had the exact same problem as you.
Slight asymmetry and empty boobs after weight loss. I thought I’d just need implants to fill the skin but was told by two surgeons I’d need uplift and implants. At first I considered just having a bigger implant to give them a boost but my surgeon explained they would drop and ‘bottom out’ within 18 months and then I’d be back wanting surgery again as they would sag more.

I really wanted the fullness at the top of my chest and i now understand the only way for me to get that loook is to have the uplift. They will last a lot longer too and therefore it’s more cost effective. I haven’t had any babies (yet) so not being able to breastfeed was a concern.

I’m over it now and have my surgery booked for 31st July with Mr mounir in Preston . Just waiting to see him again so I can confirm implant sizes.
I know it’s a scary thought with being so young and being told you need an uplift, I cried for days after my first surgeon consultation. But now I realise it’s the best option for me.

Feel free to add me Hun and follow my journey xxx
