Heyy, I thought I’d share some before and after pics. I had my op on the 10th December at the Preston First Trust hospital. I had an uplift with 325cc implants. Was a 34D before and now I think I’m 34F.

The first two weeks haven’t been too bad, it took a good few days to feel back to my usual self though. This wasn’t helped by the fact that the antibiotics made me sick on the 3rd day, was so horrible!

My wounds have been healing well so far, but I have to keep the dressings on for a total of at least 3 weeks, so I haven’t been able to shower properly in that time. Getting tired of washing in the sink!

Overall I’m so happy I’ve had this done. I definitely feel more confident already. I know that the scars are off-putting when thinking about having an uplift, but for me I just had no confidence at all with my natural boobs and didn’t want to show them off, whereas I can’t wait to get these out 😍

Thank you both! I think my comment got deleted but I was initially quoted £8k for surgery in London but in Preston it was £7.5k. I went up to Preston because they didn’t have the dates in London x

They look amazing! When you had to keep your dressings on for those 3 weeks were you given any instructions for cleaning or caring for your incisions? What about after those 3 weeks?

thank you! No in the 3 weeks I had to keep the plasters on at all times, the strips/plasters were only changed by the nurse at the 1 and 2 week appointment. At week 3 she said I could take the plasters off myself and if the incisions looked fully closed I was allowed to shower – she gave me some plasters to take home with me just in case I needed to put them back on. I ordered a load of plasters/alcohol wipes/steri strips off Amazon just in case but tbh I didn’t really need all of that, it was okay from week 3 x

Ooh thanks! Was it scary / did it hurt having the steri-strips taken off and replaced so soon?

I’ve been online since booking my consultation reading horror stories about nipples lifting off and scars splitting open!

It doesn’t help that literally every surgeon seems to have a different aftercare protocol! Some shower in their strips and keep them on for months, others replace them regularly etc

if I’m honest it was a bit uncomfortable, it made me go light headed to see them for the first time at week 1! they really don’t look good early on with all the bruising and swelling, and with the incisions being so fresh. I was really worried beforehand as well as I followed some girls on instagram that had issues with healing. Haven’t seen anything about people’s nipples lifting off tho that sounds horrific!! For me it took about 4 weeks for my nipples to settle down and not look really odd.

For steri strips and stuff the nurse decides a lot of it as it depends how well you’re healing. Some people are good to shower and not use strips anymore whereas others might have a little opening somewhere so they need to keep it on for longer etc. But once your incisions are fully healed you shouldn’t need strips anymore

Courtney you look fab! What was the worst bit of the healing process for you? I’m having an uplift with implants this Saturday and I’m stressing so much about potentially being bed bound, and not knowing when I can drive etc. Is it two weeks minimum? Xxx

Thankyou for sharing these photos. I have my first consultation with my surgeon soon, when they said I needed an uplift aswell as the implants it scared me but seeing this is so reassuring. They look great!

Think all prices went up after covid and bc preview of silicone has gone up and Mayb all depends on what implants everyone is having
