Before and after pics

So just had my steri strips replaced by the nurse, apparently my stitches are inside so didn’t have to have anything removed… bonus!!!
Had a look at my scars and there so tiny and hair line thin … could barely see them so dead happy…am allowed to remove the steri strips on sept 26th for good yay
Also from this sat am allowed to sleep flat whey 😀
Anyway I managed to take a pic of my pre op pics that the nurse had….. omg how disgusting was I before…..makes me feel so sad looking back at how they used to look and remembering how they made me feel 🙁 but looking at them now to how they were makes me soo grateful

So here’s a before picture and today I took another, think one has dropped slightly as my nipples are different height or it’s the way I’m stretching my arm out lol

Btw the nurse said overs do drop and fluff like unders so double happy :-))

What a difference. They look fab, even enter now your bandages are off xxx

Yeah I’m happy just don’t want to shrink lol apparently overs do the drop and fluff too so hopefully don’t go smaller …. xx

Ye my surgeon told me the same. I can’t see them getting smaller it will just be the swelling, I don’t know how long that usually takes to go… I’m not even sure if mine has gone :-/ xx

The nurse said this morning swelling normally goes around 4-6 weeks nd will lose some of the side boob :/ xx

@witwoolou oh no really! I’m loving the side boobs that’s the best part! lol xx

4-6 weeks! Wow that seems ages off lol.. I quite like my side boob so hope it don’t go down to much lol xxx

Haha Hannah are bras aren’t off long enough to enjoy it lol
And I know it’s so annoying. Hopefully it won’t go down too much….touch wood lol xx

I’ve been leaving it off half hour every night when I moisturise them lol. It’s the nicest part of the day haha!! Xx

Really? Are you meant to do that with unders? I haven’t been told to do it plus it’s bit scary lol xx

@witwoolou @cgargano91 hey girls, when i had my nurses appointment she told me in the evenings after a shower to lay in bed (well propped up) and moisturise them as they often go dry and tight without – not to press hard tho and she said not to get moisturiser on the incisions.

I just put the tv on and watch something while i do it, plus I’m not moving around so they won’t get knocked or anything. xxx

OK hun I might try it.. mine are taking a little longer to change but I’ve just seen on the forums that UHP take longer to drop or change x

It’s nice to get the bra off for a bit as well. I have done it for the past 4 nights now and my skin to touch is softer not so ‘rubbery’, although still not much movement going on with the boobs.

Yeah I think they do take longer to drop Hun. It’s so hard to be patient tho, I keep expecting to wake up and they’ll look perfect haha xx

Oh god I don’t think I could as feel hard and it’s gross lol xx
