Bio oil

Hot long after the op can u start to put bio oil on your boobs and scars?!?

I’m 6 weeks and nurse told me i can put anything on them now, but my right scar isn’t completely sealed at the end so I’m not putting anything on that yet, I think it’s in case the cream/ oils interfere with the healing of the wound. Xx

My nurse said at 6 weeks I can start but as long as the scar is completely closed / healed as the oil could interfere and possibly cause infection she said.

i want to know this too, im so worried about stretch marks! 19 days to go til boobie day 🙂 xxx

I’m 9 days post op xxx I can’t wait for the swelling to go down xx they have changed loads since iv had my strapping off xx so worried about scars I can’t wait to get the bio oil on xx I had stretch marks before my op and with having the op my stretch marks have gone now so that’s good xx

Aww I know what you mean I’m 13 days post op and have seen my boobs change since the strapping came off…I think they’ve started to drop now and settle into place it. Hopefully your swelling goes down quickly and you can start to see your actual size 🙂 I had ice packs for first few days so maybe that’s why it seems swellings gone down fairly quickly.

Me too! I think some ladies have started using bio oil soon as straps have come off but best thing to do is visit nurse and take her advice because I’m sure it depends on the incision itself as in how healed or closed up it is and if it’s safe to start using bio oil for example. Ohh how about that …two new boobies and no stretch marks …happy bunny I bet 🙂
