    Hey everyone,

I’m haven’t had my op yet! Booked for 8th March! Very excited but extremleeeeey nervous 🙁 anyway I’m looking for a bit of help when it comes to bio oil and massaging. I know bio oil can’t be applied to the incisions until they are healed but how soon after are you supposed to start massaging to help them drop and using bio oil to help with stretch marks? Also do you have any pointers on what to take to the hospital and to do morning of the op? Eg can I wear deodorant? I’m a day case. Xxx

Hi hun – I was advised no massaging. Nothing on scars ’til after 6 week check. You can put bio oil on straight after but not vigorously massage – but stick to upper pole of breast away from scars. Take slippers, dressing gown, something to read, your sports bras, PJs, a zip up front top for going home in if needed, and a roll on deo – not spray. Have a shower the morning of your op – but no body lotion or deo, no make up or nail varnish. Think that’s it! Good luck hun x x x

Ok brilliant, thank you so much for your help. I’m going to feel horrible not using any deo in the morning lol. I’m so scared, I just want it to be over and done with now. Not too long to wait now though 🙂 how did you find your recovery? I’m having two weeks off work and my partner is off the first week with me as I’m guessing I will need lots of tlc lol. Having partial under the muscle. Xx

No deodorant, no moisturiser, no false or painted nails, no contacts.. Basically go as you were born! Take something loose and comfy.. And something front buttoning.. leggings arent that great, defo trackie bottoms or pjs. also munches for when u come round as I felt like my food took forever to come. If your at Fitzroy and driving the car park is 1st intuition, £15 for up to 4hrs and £25 for longer, also might be a good idea to call and reserve it. When u have your pre op your nurse will advise. Sorry I’m in a bit of pain not even 24hrs po so struggling I’m type a bit lol but I’m happy to answer any questions now or in the future.. Hope this helps a bit x

Oh yh don’t be nervous, any of the girls will tell u it’s a breeze xxx

Lol love the term going as if you we’re born. I’m just going to have a shower and wash my hair in the morning and then be ready to go 🙂 aw hope you’re doing ok, I’ve heard the first few days are the worst but at least the pain is worth the outcome 🙂 I will definitely be taking some snacks, I hate going without food so the no eating / drinking before hand will be a struggle! Happy healing 🙂 thanks for your help xxx
