Blisters from strapping

Hi All,

I am 2 days post of and have this morning pulled some of my strapping back as it began to irritate and have noticed a blister, the skin of this has also come away so it now sore, has anybody else experienced this.

I had a really bad skin tear, it killed and would stick to my sports bra and then when I took it off it would repeal and had yellow coming off It. Wait for your strapping to be taken off then if you have a skin tear I would use germaline and cover with antiseptic pad, that’s what I did and mine healed quickly! X

@jessica thank you, it’s so horrible I spoke to a nurse and she assured me that it should be fine as long as I look after the wounds and make sure they don’t get wet. I’ve had no pain up until this point but very anxious now ? x x

@cherrrelle-king hi Hun, I’m 1 day post op and I’m also experiencing this 🙁 when the nurse came to take out my drainages before they discharge me, she peeled back my strapping and I had skin blisters from it being so tight so she had to put plasters on them! I just can’t wait to get the straps off, so tight and uncomfortable 🙁 hope you’re not in too much pain xx

@jessiikaa its awful isn’t it, i’m getting worried about my incisions and the underneaths as they are on fire and extremely uncomfortable. I was fine the first day post op but as of yesterday they’ve got heavier and my bra seems tighter around the band which also feel likes its cutting into my ribcage. 🙁 Just feeling a little bit down as you cant really see the shape of them at the moment as they look like cone tits from the strapping:( i’m sure it will get better but just extremely anxious about the outcome……
