Bloating. Help!!

I’m 7 days post op and Jesus Christ the bloating is just unreal. I literally look 8 months pregnant. When will this go away?! I feel great because I finally have boobs but I feels so fat, frumpy and fed up with the swollen bloated belly. It isn’t made better by the fact I’m already so anxious about another 5 weeks out of the gym. Any tips on how to help get rid of the bloat? Did this go eventually once the medication / antibiotics stopped? At the moment I’m finding it hard to remember what I even looked like without this belly!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Yep me too, I’m 5 days post op and my stomach is so swollen! I have spoken to a friend who has had it done and she said it took a couple of weeks to go but it does settle down. Thank goodness! Have you had your bandages off yet?

It will go down after about 2 weeks! My bloated belly looked horrendous and was so paranoid about not going gym for so long and gaining weight I’m 5 weeks post op with no gym and very little exercise apart from walking about 20 mins daily and I’ve put on 2lb (my new boobs probably weight more than 2lb) your belly will go down soon girl, mine started to go down once i stopped taking the co drynamol and replaced it with paracetamol xxx

It’s a mixture of the anaesthetic, cocodamol and antibiotics. Mine went down as at 7 days when I stopped the antibiotics. X

Oh wow milly how exciting!! How are they?! I bet you feel so much better now after loosing the strapping. Can’t wait to have mine off tomorrow evening!

I take my last lot of antibiotics tomorrow, I’ve cut right down on my painkillers so il probably stop these completely tomorrow too or replace them with paracetamol like you suggest. Can’t wait for this bloating to go. I’m going to struggle to find any top to cover my belly when I’m back at work next week lol xx

Yes we all same haha I had some magic tea from my mum and went to toilet but just once, so it gone down a bit. I would suggest green tea and seeds/nuts. Strapping off tomorrow yeyyyyy 🙂 xxx

I’m the same 5 days post op feel like a whale

My sister gets married on Thursday, the day after my bandages are off, belly will look great lol!
Bit worried about going back to work on 12th as I’m a Prison Officer but they won’t give me any extra time off as its cosmetic. Going to be ducking and diving for a few weeks!!!

How excited are you feeling this morning Joanna? The strapping it’s really itchy now so it can’t come any quicker getting it taken off!! I hope my boobs doesn’t feel too heavy without it. I’m quite used to being strapped in so tight now lol.

Ohhh Jessica I was so excited this morning ???? Went to clinic and when nurse pulled strapping I felt relived hehe. I love them. I think they will be a good size C, but they look so natural. Still very high up, so I have to wear band for 2-3 weeks on top of my sports bra. Nurse said they won’t go any bigger, just when they will drop and fluff, they will look bigger. No regret. I had a good recovery as well. Hows your babies? Are u in love with them? Xxx

Haha I was same lol sneaking out to bathroom looking at them hehe. Yeah he is a God of boobs lol I’m looking forward to see ur results in few weeks. Ahhh it’s so good to have a boobs lol Amazing boobs xxx muahhhh
