BMI Under 19

Hello,

Just a quick one, My BMI ive worked out is less the 19 its just under 18. I am naturally small and don’t eat dairy or gluten so that probably makes a difference. I have read your BMI needs to be 19 or above. My op is in 2 weeks, has anyone had issues with weight? xxx

I’m sure your nurse will tell you if you are under weight. My BMI is 18 too and I’m ok as long as don’t get lower than than. My MRSA come out ok so looking forward on Tuesday. 325cc with Mr Marcelino.

Ok 🙂 im sure I will be fine, I am just worrying now. I am more nervous about this then I am my op. I cant wait to be excited more then worrying. How long did your MRSA results take to come back? xxx

My bmi was 18 and nobody said anything! I’m 3 weeks po now.. X

Had to have bloods taken as I am under weight. 🙁
Hopefully should be fine and my op will be able to go ahead xxx

Awhh I know that feeling. Some people just can’t see the reasons behind what we’re doing but they don’t have to live with small boobs everyday!! I’m sure you’ll be fine 🙂 xx

My mum had been fine up until last night, I mentioned the word D and she has flipped saying she now doesn’t want an involvement. She was suppose to be coming with me for my surgery. Hope your well, have you decided to go ahead with yours xxx

I think it’s just procedure that they take blood. They took mine and would have no reason too x

Aw I know the feeling, I haven’t even told my mum yet and I’m 3 and a half weeks post op! Dreading it!!! X

I think they check clotting in the blood when they take it too… X

I never had bloods taken ?
When do u get ur MRSA results bck?? My ops in 11days and not heard anything xx

Thanks girls 🙂 at the end of the day its our bodies and we are entitled to do what makes us happy.
carly I think you should be ok if you haven’t heard, my Nurse said if I don’t hear anything after 4 working days then I should be fine.

Hey Charlotte, I’m definitely gonna book just got to wait until the end of the month. I deffo can’t tell my mum – she cried when I got a tattoo so she just wouldn’t get this. She’d be way to worried and it would make me worry xx

@carlysexton you have your bloods in your pre op consultation with your nurse. I had mine on the 31st and also swabs , but no one contacted me with results. I called Mya today and they said they will only contact if they are abnormal and mine have come back fine. My ops on the same day as you so I’m guessing you should of had them by now ? Xx

I don’t think my bmi was 18 when I was born.
