    Hi girls can anyone help!
I had under the muscle 400cc Hp on Monday. I am in agony in my breast band can’t believe I have to keep the thing on for 4 weeks it is about as fun as being repetitively bitten by mosquitos. Wahhh. I am hoping by some miracle at my 7 day check they will say I can have an hour a day without it or something… Sleeping with it is a nightmare…

My boobs r massive and like pine cones and my body is well swelled up I’ve started with the Senna so hopefully be skinny again soon ahha…

I have one question for other post op girls that had under the muscle,

Did u get constant bubbling feeling across ur boobs!? My right boob makes weird noises and it’s like air is travelling across it…

I am still well uncomfortable, can’t do anything for myself and I am due to go back to work next week arghhh panicking now that I will need more time off!

Does anyone have any advice to make things easier, I have ice packs l, hot water bottle, v pillow the lot, I would love to know if anyone has any extra tips of how to get through the initial week with sub muscular 🙁 🙁 🙁 I feel Helpless 🙁

    Hello,
Unfortunately I have no advice but just wanted to let you know I’m in the same situation. Mine were done submuscular on Tuesday I’m feel like the Michelin man and can’t do anything for myself. I’ve just slept for the last 12 hours and woken up feeling stiff as a board. I keep feeling the air bubbles occasionally, sounds a bit squelchy and it freaks me out every time! It’s early days but don’t feel this is ever going to end!

I’ve read about the “rapid recovery” method online which uses exercises to retrain the muscle which makes sense logically as that is what you would do after any other operation but even the thought of lifting my arms up fills me with fear. I’m going to try going out for a walk today though get the blood moving a little! Hope you start to feel better soon x

Hi Girls… Im on POD2 and all i wanna do is cry. I feel like im being such a wimp but im in so much pain (mainly my right breast) .. Iv also had the air bubbles which feel horrible. Im not struggling with sickness or nausea its just the pain. I managed the toilet about an hour ago after being awake all night with serious bloating so i feel a tad better that way. The only problem is.. because im still a tad bloated my appetite has gone!!!!! Im so scared iv hurt my right breast because i cant understand why my left isnt sore. Please can someone tell me when i might see an improvement in my pain and discomfort. I may attempt to sleep on the sofa tonight as i couldnt sleep at all last night xxx horrendous is this. I had 425cc under the muscle xxx

My right is painful and my left is numb so I can relate @rachelash 🙁 it’s awful isn’t it! I thought I had prepared myself for submuscular but clearly not! I lay awake for most of the night last night just can’t sleep, bored of having to sit up all the time! ‘My surgeon told me I have to keep my arms by my side for 2 weeks and do nothing… the rapid recovery method sounds good I just don’t want to ruin my boobs… I will do as the surgeon says, I shellac’d my nails today and that in itself was a nightmare haha. I can hardly pince and leaning to one side is hell @lauraann892 u gnna try the rapid recovery? I might give it a google! To be honest knowing that there are others going through what I am has made me feel better! I know it’s quite rare to go proper under the muscle and not partial or over so I appreciate u 2 replying for moral support!…. one thing I have found that has weirdly helped my bloating along is lemonade? Hah….

We will be free of these damn bands before u know or just wait!

I managed to go to the toilet myself today! Yay! ( my poor poor boyfriend haha)

Wishing u both a speedy recovery xxxxxxxxx think of the final results! Xx

@rachelash you are defo not alone.ha.

I click watch too. Just wish I could fast forward 5 weeks, I am meant to be going out next week with the girls but I can’t see how I am gnna manage to be honest, I don’t want to go out wearing my Halloween costume (macom) feel like I am strapped into a rollercoaster of pain… it’s like a crushing torture device not even being dramatic ahha. I might try and get out for a walk later see if I can take my mind of the itching/pain/bloating. Wahhh if u need a boost remember u arnt alone… feel free to drop me a message anytime (literally, I have forgotten what sleep is hhaha) it will get better I reckon 2 more days we will start to heal xx

Oh god i do hope so… have you opened your macom yet??? Its by far the best feeling ever!! The relief is un real. But when my partner goes to fasten it up again i just wanna have a paddy and cry and stamp my feet lol. Not that i can. I went for a short walk yesterday, the fresh air was lovely but i dont know if i over did it and thats why im feeling so shite. I was awake from 12.40am last night thinking i was gunna throw up. So tired today. So stiff and the pain is driving me nuts. Id quite happily swap for an unbuckled theme park ride than have to go through this for another day or 2!!!! Bible

The idea of rapid recovery sounded great but I got as far as rotating my shoulders and gave up! I think I’ll just do as I’ve been told and rest it’s much easier. It’s just taken me the best part of two hours to get up, washed and dressed and that’s with help from my boyfriend, he’s back at work tomorrow I have no idea how I’m going to do it alone for the day!
I’ve heard pineapple juice is good for reducing swelling so just sent him to the shop for some! Xx

Only got mine done yesterday and in tons of pain! Nurse had to loosed my band cos couldn’t breath with how tight they put it on after surgery. Pain mostly in my left but thinks it’s because he originally put in one size and changed it for another because one was bigger than the other. Happy it’s over with, so baring with the pain for now. Might not feel the same in a few days time xo

Oh I’ll get some sounds good, I’ve got one of those nutribullet things and I’ve been having em. On stop as I don’t have much appetite… still seem to be bloated haha.

I took my strapping off and undid my bra to have a look at them and I felt like they were going to fall off! After a couple of minutes they started to throb and my bf made me put it back on hahah what would we do without or nurses hey hahahah… my bf reckons me having a boob job has been like us having a new born baby…. haha I cry, he gets up through the night helps me to the toilet gets my juice lmao…

He’s been at work today and I’ve had to do things which has sort of made things abit better really gnna defo try and rotate the shoulders and get out for some air. Going stir crazy in this house! I can’t till Monday for 7 day post op check. I really want this strapping gone….

How are you all getting on? I’ve managed the day on only paracetamol for pain which is an improvement and I have a tiny bit more movement (made it as far as the garden for my walk) but still feeling like I’ve got bowling balls strapped to me. Some friends came round today and made me laugh which hurt and just seemed plain unfair that even laughing is difficult!Xx

A nurse in Preston told me to put it over my tshirt it’s much comfier..don’t know how it’ll adjust to the change to back under a tshirt when I go back to work now. Glad you’re feeling a little better. Hope you get a good nights sleep.. My sleeping tablets are ready waiting next to the bed just in case for me xx

    Well ladies,
I just woke up! Slept through! Heat pad on my back and shoulders and one nightol seemed to do the trick…. had a warm glass of milk and a banana before bed and BOOM I am up in good time haha…woke up feeling sore as usual. So I took the breast band off for 5 ‘mins while I made a brew… re strapped over my tshirt now watching the news, sipping”‘ coffee through a straw… no boob bubbles yet and pain killers not needed…. POD4 looking up! Hope u all slept well…. heat pads/ hot water bottle is amazing! X

I also slept much better last night. I had to unclip the top of my macom yesterday evening due to being so uncomfortable and it made a huge difference. I woke up this morning at about 6am busting for a wee but i was pratically led down so needed help getting up and that really hurt. Have any of you girls experienced the feeling of the akin stretching?? Its bloody horrific. Also… are you boobues really warm?? Is this normal??

My boobs arnt really warm they feel normal temp, if they r hot to the touch could be and infection check your temperature to make sure u havent got one, 2 days post op mine went really really hot and hard and then the next day they went back to normal. 9 feel like I have wax boobs at the min the are cold and waxy in appearance ha. They r changing everyday! Defo watch the hotness tho if it doesn’t go check ur own temp to make sure u haven’t got an infection…. sure it’s just things starting to settle tho! Xx

Morning ladies, happy to hear your both feeling a little better 🙂 I struggled to get to sleep but once I got off couldn’t wake up so I’m still in bed now. Woken up with a horrific headache, putting it down to all the pain meds, poor sleep and lack of fresh air for the past few days. First day without my boyfriend/nurse today so wish me luck!

Rachel, mine are warm to touch but not what I’d call hot. Get some ice packs/frozen peas on them for a little (not direct to the skin, pop a towel round them or something), keep an eye on your temperature and check with nurse if you need but as lau says I’m sure it’ll just be a settling down phase xx

Hi Rachel… when did the bubbles in the boobs stop? I get it in my left boob have done since day one I’m now day 8 and it’s only my left boob also I’ve noticed it’s when my boob moves. If unbend down, lay down, sit up my implant moves to where I’m going and makes the noise (I can even move it slightly by hand) but my right one doesn’t do this… I don’t know what to think maybe my left implant isn’t healing so it’s still moving around and it’s the material of the implant rubbing on my breast pocket??? I don’t want to get ahead of myself lol any advice would be really appreciated please xxx

Hi girls it does go…. mine went totally by week 4 when my boobs felt like my own…. best thing is keep ur support bra on and relax…. it will go…. just natural healing it is such a horrible weird feeling…. try going for walks and moving around abit that helps…. best thing is to just try and ignore it…… I also had one boob that moved around more than the other… I wouldn’t worry ….. the first 2 weeks are weird after that u will b fine and feel normal again xx
