Hello ladies, I’m thinking to go for op with Mya. I’ve been reading a lot of forums and not sure whether I should leave it after I have kids? Planning to have them in the next 3 years. Did any of your surgeons mentioned anything about this?
Thank you for your tips and opinions

Pregnancy and breastfeeding changes your body. Even if you don’t breastfeed your body still changes with pregnancy. Multiple pregnancies affect your body multiple times. Also age in general affects your body. I’m different at 31 to how I was at 21 even though I prob weigh about the same.
I’d say you have to consider a few things here –
If you have the op before, then will you need another op whilst you are not yet finished with pregnancies? Having children can span over many years if you plan to have more than one.
If you have before, will pregnancy affect your breasts so you want them doing again to correct pregnancy changes before they would be due for a change? Implants don’t last forever and will need changing at some point.
Pregnancy doesn’t necessarily happen to plan. It can take a lot longer than expected to catch on or catch you by surprise and come before you want / expect it!!!
If You wait til after children, will you still have the funds available? Children are expensive and life changes when your priorities change.

There isn’t a right or wrong answer, these are just some points I thought of x

I was panicking about this also as I am wanting a baby in the next 1-2 years and I am booked in for BA on 17th November. I know they may change during pregnancy but I have decided they can’t get any worse than what they are like now pre op and if you wear a good sports bra throughout you may help reduce changes. Also if I had a baby now I would probably not be able to afford my boobs done or I would convince myself I couldn’t afford as the money could be used for the baby etc. X

I would never have considered a boob job before kids, not because I had perfect boobs, but I just didn’t feel the need and I never thought I would. Then I had kids and now my boobs are awful! So have booked in for a BA in Dec.
In every consultation they have asked me if I plan on having more kids but me and my husband have categorically decided that 2 is enough for us, so the conversation never escalated with the surgeon about kids!

But women have BAs before kids all the time But I imagine you have to consider the risk that you may need another one or at least an alteration after you have kids as yhe shape may change (?)

I have a one year old and I had my boobs done last month. Iv never had any boobs and pregnancy never changed that, I went up to a b cup just lol. I was fed up of feeling so Unconfident without boobs so I got them done, but I do want another baby one day. My surgeon asked me if I wanted anymore and I said no and he was like are you sure? Think you just need to wear a good sports bra during the pregnancy and after. Some people’s boobs change a lot during pregnancy and others they don’t. Iv read some people’s surgeons suggest you wait two years until you have one so they have enough time to fully settle. Some people also say they look more natural after pregnancy xx

For me personally, after kids. But the only reason I’ve gone through with BA is because of what breastfeeding has done to my boobs (breastfed 2 kids born 15 months apart)

I think if you want them doing before you just have to consider the possibility of needing them re-doing. But as the lady above said your financial status will be different.

We tried for our first since we were 18 and didn’t have a baby until we were 21. We’ve decided that 2 is enough for us and won’t be having anymore so I went ahead with the BA.

My surgeon didn’t mention it as id told him the reasons why I was having a BA and that I weren’t having anymore. I’m hoping to be sterilised soon!

I have also been thinking about this! It’s a very hard decision to make! I’m the same as you Viktoria, getting married next year and then thinking about having children at some point! It’s hard to know wether to wait as yes they may change but on the other hand they might not and I would remain unhappy for the next few years because of a possibility not a certainty. I’m sure my boobs would look better after pregnancy in a bikini than they do now ???? I kind of feel like you have to live for today as tomorrow might not come! ✌️ Xxx

Hey Hun, I fell pregnant 2 weeks after I had my boobs done. I can honestly say, wait!! I had perfect boobs for about 3 months, they were everything I wanted. After that they sagged with incredible speed and have all sorts of funky pigmentation going on. Can’t be too down about it though coz I’m meeting my little angel in 4 weeks and they will look better than the originals if the pigmentation goes. But if you want the most for your money, I suggest you wait until after the little ones. X

It all depends, I know someone who had kids a year after their BA & her boobs still look incredible!! I’ve had mine before kids cause finding the money after is going to be much harder than it is now, plus I’ve never had boobs & know plenty of girls including my auntie who’ve got less boob than they started off with after they breast fed!! Everyone’s bodies are different, do what feels right for you babe xx
