Booked holidays for six weeks post op – is it doable ??

Hello girls,

I will have my surgery in August.

I have booked holidays now for six weeks after my surgery date. Is this gonna be doable ? Would I have healed and recovered by then ? Will my boobs look ok by then or will they look stuck up and still be swollen a lot and bleeding.

I don’t know if that was the right thing to do.

Please whoever has pictures of their boobs six weeks after surgery share it here so I can see how bad or good they will be at that point and if I will be able to enjoy my holidays and the new breasts too in bikinis at that point or if it’s too early.

Hiya I’m going away 7 week after my op. I asked my surgeon and he said wait 6 weeks before u fly. Every surgeon will probs tell u different. They say 6 weeks is the time it takes for full recovery so I’m sure Ul be fine. Just be careful pulling your suitcase/carrying heavy bags and put sunblock on your boobs if ur off somewhere hot cos they burn really easy Cos the skin has been stretched so much. I’d mention it to your surgeon but I’m sure it’ll be fine x

Thanks Katie I thought I’ll just ask the surgeon Just to be safe, but I think it takes 6 weeks in total to fully recover.
