Bottoming out

Hi Ladies – I have heard this term before, what does it mean???!!! Does it happen with small or large implants, overs or unders? How do you know you have it and what does it look like? Thanks x

It’s where the implant falls out the pocket created for it, usually because the pocket is to big for the implant. It can happen to anyone at any time.

My first ones bottomed out, 380cc, its most common in overs, but I’ve seen a lot happen in unders too, mine were unders. It can happen if implants too large and has little support, or when the pocket made is too large for the implant, which was what happend in my case, if I laid down they just fell straight to the sides and moved everywere. To look at they were both low on the chest, nipples pointing upwards and not central, specially from the side. My right was worse then left so fell further down also making them slightly wonky. Then the left had double bubble, which now on my 2nd op has started to get worse again. Hope that helps xx

How quickly does this happen? Had mine done yesterday’s love them at the mi but so scared for anything to happen I had 525 overs so quite big xx

Took roughly around 3 months for mine to get to how it did. Chrissy don’t worry, you had singh didn’t you? Never hear a bad word about him, I’ve seen 1 lady with singh 1 of hers bottomed out and he said straight away like 2wk po it had bottomed out but not to worry cause it would be sorted. He dusnt fob you off at all so your in really good hands xxx

Beckie90, do you mind if I add you, am 2weeks po, not a mya girl but found this forum so helpful, am worried about bottoming out but not sure what to look for, am having problems with my right boob but not sure if anything is wrong or whether it just needs time to settle .xx
