Hi girls. I’m searching online at decent sports bra/ no underwire bras but can’t find any decent ones. They all look tacky & ugly. Anyone got any suggestions of any places to buy bras from? No underwire tho! As I want to use after op. Thanks girls x

I’m having mine done in 4 days and looked for ages but I found the zip up front one at M&S which is black with leopard print trim. I’ve also bought a shock absorber one which can be expensive for when I return to the gym. X

I Realli recommend the macom surgical bra.. It’s around £40 including delivery, but when we’ve paid all that money for boobies it’s worth paying that bit more for a decent bra.. And it can be used as a gym bra after and for sleeping in etc to keep ya boobies in tip top condition.. If you use the code ‘my breast’ you get 15% off too.. And other then that a lot of girls use the asda ones you get 2 for £7 xx

I gather the macom is best from what lots of people say. I had the M&S zip up sports bras and I used them until my dressing came off at day 9 and the nurse then recommended I change for a few weeks until the incisions were more healed as the band was sitting on them, but other people have found them totally fine, so depends on positioning and individuals. Cheaper options which some people rate are asda sports bras – pack of 2 for £7. For the first week I was glad of the zip up front – easy to put on etc

I had the M&S zip up one on for a few days post op but it sat on my left incision and actually rubbed a hole in it which is thankfully healing now I’ve stopped wearing it! I got a few from Primark that are really comfortable as they have absolutely no seem on them so don’t rub at all but they’re not very supportive. I would deffo say it’s worth getting the Macom.. even though it is expensive, I spent about the same buying loads of cheaper ones that are either uncomfortable or not supportive enough and wish I’d just bought the Macom straight away and saved my money! 🙂 xx

Thank you very much ladies. We’re can I purchase the Macom bra from ? Is the Macom one a zip up front? Appreciate all your replies. I purchased 3 from eBay but they seem a bit cheap and tacky so want to get a comfortable one in time as I only have 3 weeks left

http://www.macom-medical.com you can get next day delivery too.. Don’t forget to use code ‘my breast’ for 15% off.. You won’t regret it… It’s not a zip it’s the little claps you would normally have on the back of a bra and there two columns depending on tightness.. And order the back size you are now or it will be too big.. The cups are expandable to almost any size.. Good luck for your op @Rhianon x x x
