    I’m 5 days PO and bought two asda post op bras (front fastening…sooo comfy) and two Macom bras (medium in nude and black). I would definitely recommend buying an asda one! They’re only £8 so you can’t go wrong. Not as tight as Macom too so perfect for sleeping. Xx

    I have used the Asds front fastening and the shock absorber. I found first 2 weeks when your a bit sore and not moving about too much the asda is fine as its long line so doesn’t irritate scars. But the shock absorber has been by far the most supportive and at nearly 8 months post op I wear it 6 days out of 7.
    Mr kazzazi doesn’t like macom bras as they are intended for breast cancer paitents so not very supportive.

    Hi all, I bought the asda ones too, just make sure the back size is big enough. I usually wear a 32 but bought a 36 due to swelling. I had 325 unders coming up to 5 weeks ago and I measure a 32E at the moment. The swelling has gone down but they do need to drop some more. I also bought a 2 pack sports bra from Tesco which have been comfortable. xx

    @amy

    @laura
    if I’m a 34b what size do you reckon I should get I’m having 450cc do you not just get your back size? & does the boob bit expand like a Macom?…. X

    La Isla do a good black zip up one that I’m finding more supportive than the macom. I ordered it on amazon for £13 and got it in 2-3days free postage . Best to wear macom for first week as will support u as u swell, then once u had ur post op I’d change to a diff one. But don’t go for the plunge ones, and make sure it does up at front as u may find y can’t life arms up to fet it over ur head for a few weeks!! X

    P,s.. To wear after op if it’s not too hot wear a zip up hoody? That’s what I did. If not, a button up top (e.g casual shirt maybe?) basically anything loose (as u will be coming out bigger than went in on chest plus u will likely feel bloated!) and that does up at front (again, no lifting arms up for a while!!). I’d wear comfy bottoms as well, incase u feel sick or are bloated.

    I had bought a macom bra but then returned it as Mr Kazzazi told me he doesn’t like them and that they’re too harsh on the incisions. He recommended the asda sports bras that you buy in a two pack so that’s what I’ve got ? I wore button up pjs which were perfect as my arm movement was very restricted so wouldn’t have got a top on over my head, not sure id have been able to get a long sleeve hoody on as I could barely move my arms behind me so the short sleeve pj top was good (bought from bhs). I also wore slippers to go home in as couldn’t get my shoes on even with help as it hurt! I wish I had plaited my hair as it’s now horribly knotty and I can’t wash it ? plaiting it would have kept it out of my way and wouldn’t matter when it got greasy/ it wouldn’t have got knotty. Good luck! Xxxx

    I found La Isla’s shock absorbers very comfy and supportive. And you look in them like you have boobies and not two cones like in macom’s 😀 . Only £11. They are one size down on a cup and band so I would recommend for first 2-3 weeks to go 2 sizes up. Swelling is very big at the beggining X

    Hi girls I had my pre-op and my MYA nurse told me that the macon bras have specifically been designed for breast enlargement and developed with plastic surgeons which is why I bought my macons. I definitely found it to be supportive enough and I am already an E so hopefully that will reassure you! Hope this helps 🙂 xx

    @charlotte c : If I was you I would go bigger on a cup and band. It is hard to predict the size after surgery, I have ordered 2 sizes of pink one: 38 E and 40 DD. I was 36B before surgery, had 425/450 overs. Just after procedure 40DD bra was perfect as the swelling is very big and you cannot have a tight band(incisions). It looks like La Isla’s bras are on a small side anyway, you can see this in Amazon reviews. X

    @victoria I’m feeling fantastic Hun when I woke up I was very sick just like exorcist projectile vomit but I had to have meds to clot my blood which is not routine (just something I personally have to have) I was uncomfy but not really painful ! I really wanted a asda bra but my asda didn’t have any in my size and I struggled to get back fastening bras on, my macom is very comfy but as other girls have said its not as supportive as other bras and the good thing about the shock ab and the m&s is that you will use them after you’re healed the macom is useless after as it doesn’t make them a nice shape and i don’t feel like I’d find it supportive enough to hit the gym in it !!! Xxx
