Hi I had my op 8 days ago I have my macom on but it’s irritating me slightly , if I measure myself and order m&s sports bra online is that ok do you think ? I’m swelled so might be too soon to determine size ? Do you think I should wait ?
I can’t get into the city to be measured yet . Thanks xx
Measured myself at 36C
Hiya i didnt like the macom either I’ve only worn it once and chucked it in the drawer lol what size is your expected I bought 2 back sizes bigger and 3 one cup sizes bigger than I asked for so I was a 36b expected DD but surgeon said i would probs be a little bigger I’m measuring a E cup, so bought a large in a post op bra and also a 38 f sports bra if any of that makes sense lol, try the asda two pack post op bras a black and white one for 15pounds in a large these are fab I swear by them xx
Hi Charlie , thanks for reply it’s so confusing as measurements calculators saying I’m a bloody 32G ! Oh goodness I’m usually a 36B , my waist band is saying 32 inches and bust measurement at largest point is 39 inches . Ok yes good idea Asda is a better option as I don’t really wanna spend £25 on m&s if my size changes soon , my macom is quite uncomfortable i must say , would prefe cotton . Thanks for ur help xx
Lol no problem hun my back size as gone bigger with swelling aswell which didn’t help with the macom but honestly you won’t be disappointed with these asda ones , I had to cut the tags out tho because they were scratching my sides and brill because it a two pack you can switch whilst you washing the other x
I nipped into m&s at 1wpo and the lady measured me at a 34f. I’m 4wpo and it still fits perfectly if not better xx
I didn’t like the Asda ones personally – no support and felt painful. My M&S is amazing. I’m selling a 34D xxx
I bought a MYA bra and it cuts into my stitches so I’ve bought sports bras from JD. They’re far more comfortable and feel most supportive (I’m driving again and the MYA bras gave no support going over any kind of bump, don’t have the problem now). Find something that’s comfortable and supportive for you. ????
Thanks girls I’ve managed to get someone to take me into m&s later today , must get fitted xx
My swelling went right down after 2 weeks so don’t get anything expensive yet although my sports bra still fits fine they dropped right down too and are starting to go a lot softer now. You can’t get a proper measurement yourself esp if you have big boobs it doesn’t work properly you’ll need to be done properly and will be at least 6 weeks until they are settled xx
What did m&s measure you at I’ve heard their aren’t very good think best place is boux xx
Hi Jane Marie , the m&s lady wouldn’t even measure me , she was a bit crap tbh , luckily my mum in law helped me, I’ve brought one which fits & is holding me very snugly and feels secure , only thing is the waistband is very tight but putting this down to bloating , but it def does seem to pull the Boobies in as the Macom wasn’t xx
So my lovely husband has gone to swap my sports bra for a different size this morning ! Warning ladies go with your gut instinct on size the lady in m&s said I should go for a smaller band size as I’m swollen and it would stretch ! Ok so I wore it all night and couldn’t basically breathe !! My ribs are hurting , lol !! Should of listened to my gut instinct
I had a 34 band it was on the last hook but now After 18 days it’s in the middle i think I’ll be Back to my normal 32 now but im not buying another sports bra as got 2 in 34 from m&s and a non wired bra for the odd night out if I need to xx
