Wendy, yes the time has gone really quickly. Glad you are doing okay hun. I haven’t yet put anything on my scars, although they have healed well. Mr Adamo said last week that i can put anything on them now, but i just want to wait a bit longer. I read an article the other day about Regen-oil which is suppose to be good for scars? Might see if i can get some of that, has anyone else used it / heard of it at all? Sure the ad said that they sold it in Asda?

Omg can’t believe i’m 8 weeks post op tomorrow, and going bra shopping yay :bigsmile:
Just been on the La Senza website, and looks like they got some lovely balconette bras to choose from. I’ve been in a 36DD sports / non-wire bra since my op, and it will be so nice to get my new boobies into a normal bra again :cheer:

Yeah that was the same time as mine hun, thinkg everything was more numb before hand…

They have changed my appointment to friday at 3.30 now, gives me a couple more days to rest and take things easy x x

Awww Sara, hopefully you can change the day you see your nurse :bigsmile: I think I saw my nurse 9 days post op, and she took the plasters off and cleaned the scars then put steri-strips on! But I couldn’t get them wet for 4 days, but I left mine on for about 7 days just to make sure, then had bath to soak them, then the strips peeled off easily! I was worried at first that they would pull the stitches open, but its a relief when they are off! Having showers and getting them wet is fine now, it was great to have a proper wash!! lol. The feeling has nearly got back to normal now in my left boob, which I’m surprised about, but pleased that the hyper-sensitivity in my right has faded a bit!

Girls, will you be using bio-oil on the scars at all??

yeah mine is under the stiches, and like you say the cleavage area, it’s only started today, as im only 3 days post op i think they were quite numb to start with so only just feeling it x x x

yes Sara, a couple of days can make a big differance to how you feel. You’ll be 9 days by then, and that was when i had to go to a family wedding and i felt so much better at 9 days. Hope they can change your date x

yeah exactly…and i dont want to risk feeling alot worse the day after or tomorrow nite, fingers crossed they will change it for me! its not my boob that hurts as such, its my ribs etc, and the cleavage part is so so tender, which is the bit that hurts when i breathe in x x x

Must be something to do witht the left size of the body as my left one, as a lot more pain than my right.
There is no point putting yourself through it if you not 100%, sure another couple of days will be fine x x x

no exactly, just phoned sam, my pc to see if i can make it friday, she’s talking to the nurse and phoning me back x x

Know how you feel hun, i wanted to go just to put my mind at rest, and make sure that everything was okay, but it was a very long and tiring day going all the way to London and back! And hubby drove me straight to the door, not sure i could have managed the tubes!!! x

thanks hun, not too bad, left side is quite alot more tender than the right but getting there…am tempted to put my app tomorro back a day or t, dont think i can manage the train and tubes etc x x
