So ladies! Hope your all well.
just wanted to let u know my story ???? So yesterday I welcomed my new girls to the world after an agonising wait of just over 10 years!!
I arrived at Fitzroy shortly b4 12 for my admission and was shown to my room a little after a 5 min wait. I was given my gown and slippers etc and told who would be in to see me.
Surprisingly I had seen my anaesthetist, surgeon then nurse all within 20mins and informed I was number 2 of the list to be operated on.
weirdly enough I was not anxious, afraid or anything and just wanted it over and done with as soon as possible so I could get back home.
My nurse Mercy & another lady (lovely but can’t remember her name) came for me around 2pm to take me to theatre (a teeny tiny room) where I was greeted my two people a scrub nurse and a man (no idea who he was, nerves had kicked in by now and I could not focus on anything)
I guess the man could sense how scared I was cause he was soooo nice and chatty trying to calm me down.
I managed to answer about 3 questions before bursting into tears and uncontrollable shaking (embarrassing right?)
by this point the anaesthetist come in a gives me a little happy fluid to relax me while they prep as I absolutely lost it when I saw all the instruments they were going to use on me!!!
shortly after that I was knocked out & don’t remember anything until the recovery room. A nurse calling my name and me waking up in complete and utter agony???? the nurse immediately asked how much pain I was in but I was so out of it I couldn’t form a proper sentence lol
I was topped up with 8mg of morphine which brought the pain down to a dull ache but I was soooo sleepy I couldn’t go up to my room until 4.20
managed go have look at my new twins as I didn’t get my bra put on me till I was discharged at 8.20pm
slept quite well considering I had to sleep upright in my sofa (can’t get into my bed) I was out cold for about 6 hours!
will upload some pics as soon as the pain eases x
Congratulations michie, hope you feel better today.
I had mine done yesterday in Preston, they’re rock hard today!
Tightness is the worst thing, pain not so bad at the moment.
Happy healing! Xx
Thanks hun, yh same here I keep touching my left boob wondering if it’s supposed to be this hard lol x

Michie are you over the moon with them, from what I can see they look a perfect size and suit your figure, Congratulations hun. hope you heal quickly and easily xx
I am happy and you did not have any keloid scaring or stretch mark looks amazing babe
Thanks girls, @Becki yh I am really pleased, was worried at first about the size but so glad I went with the bigger option in the end.
@Anna-Marie No thankfully not and my incisions are so tiny i couldnt be happier x
@Angel Heya I’ve only seen them once since the op when I got my dressing changed but it looks really good, the cut is really thin and neat, completely flat and very small.
Dr Jallali mentioned because of my skin type I was higher risk of keloid scarring but he said he would take extra care to try and prevent it and keep the incisions very small.
I’ll take a pic at my next dressing change and post to my profile
