I’ve just had my first consultation with Mr. Traynor.

I’m hoping to get a late space on the 2nd of Feb (If I can get into town quick enough to transfer money tomorrow and pay deposit)

Is there anything I should be thinking of getting for during the surgery/after?
I had a friend have hers done with Mr. Traynor but everyone has different experiences from skimming this site. She suggested a V shaped pillow as you can’t sleep laying down for 2 weeks apparently? And that helped her sleep sitting more upright. But regarding sports bras, what do I get? I’ve gone for 400cc so I mean how do I pick a sports bra? I’ve never had one before so don’t know if they’re size relevant or not?

Is there any other advice as to what I should get for the hospital and the 2 weeks afterwards especially to make things easier?

I’ve read on here a lot of recommendations of the V pillow and a lot on Macom bras that mould to your boobie size so no need to worry about accurate sizing – just go off your back size! Do u mind if I add you? X

hey.. not sure if the money is in your bank already but if it is you can just call them and make a payment over the phone,thats what i did. Thats all happening so fast for you bet your really happy with that date.
i just made a thread about wether to get a v pillow or not and everyones said yeah so would deffo say one of those..im not getting the sports bras just a macom,mainly as thats what my nurse advised me to wear and I’m getting some bio oil tomorrow to try avoid any stretch marks xx

Yeah Preston 🙂 I’m so so excited, I’m 30 now and have been thinking about this since my teens! If I’m going to do it it has to be now! I’d rather do a late space, if I have too much time to wait I’ll stress myself with anxiety haha.

I’m gonna have to go on a little shopping spree the week before and stock up ha.

I had my first consultation with Julie months ago, I knew when I seen the surgeon I was gonna just push for it, that was my time to really think about it all, inbetween consultations.

The Macom bras? I think online – a few people sell some on here though and say they’ve only been worn a couple times so they’re easy to find!

I haven’t had surgery yet – my first consultation is next week but excited to see how it goes! i think I might have to go to Preston, my consultation is Newcastle so think my surgery will be there or Manchester? I’m sure that’ll be discussed next week though haha.

I’m Newcastle and I’m being sent to Preston.
Its ideal for me I live in Carlisle so its probably the same distance to Preston as it is Newcastle given the roads!
