    Hello

I’m wanting my breast augmentation however I can’t decide if it’s best to go for when hes7 months old or wait till he’s a bit older (1year old) I’m not really prepared to wait much longer as I’ve been waiting /saving for 14 years 🙈

    How did your recovery go?

    Thanks 😊

How mobile is little one at the moment ? I’d say there are pros and cons to both ! At 7 months he’s still probably wanting to be picked up a lot but also may be less mobile than he will be at 1 when he’s walking ! I’m booked for surgery Feb 7th and have also waited years more out of fear and wanting to admit how badly I felt about my breast so I know how you feel being so eager to do it xxx

My son will be just over 6 months when I get my surgery! 1st feb I am booked for! I agree that there are pros and cons.. but right now I can lie him on his mat and he plays happily. An older baby would be running around and you wouldn’t be able to get any rest! Good luck xx

It depends if your going under muscle or not if ur going under muscle like me my bf had to book 4 days of work I literally couldn’t sit up walk or move I only felt better at week 4 tbh he had to do everything with our two year old im 5 weeks post op and I’m picking him up now but tbh they said I shouldn’t be till after week 6 but u no what its like with kids , if ur going over muscle I read recovery time is alot faster 2 to 3 days probably x

I underestimated what it would be like you will need help for first few days x

    Hi Sam,

I’d personally say it’s depends on if you choose to have under the muscles and how much help you have, I’m currently 2 weeks post op and had mine under and for the first week couldn’t do much atall, even lifting the arms proved difficult at times but was very lucky to have a lot of help at home. I have a 3 year old and still can’t really lift her I know she would be a lot heavier than your 7months but just trying to give you an idea on what recovery may be like.

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Hi Sam,

Pretty much reiterating the above from the other ladies…

Although I dont have kids so cannot speak on that behalf – i had under the muscle implants and I found that even the simplest of things such as pressing down to flush the toilet or plugging my phone into the charger was hard!

They do strongly emphasise that you cannot lift anything that would strain your breasts or muscles so as long as you have a lot of help at home, I think you will be fine x x

Hello ☺️ thanks for your replies! I don’t know if it’ll be above or under the muscle yet but I have quite a slim chest and can feel my ribs above my boobs so I think they will say under the muscle (but I’ll opt for above if I have the choice). I think I’ve decided to have it when he’s 7 months with your help because he won’t be on the move and my husband can work from home to support me at first. I’m just so excited! But terrified of a really long time not being able to pick up my baby! Xx

    Hiya,

Glad have helped with you deciding on whether to go ahead or not it is the most exciting thing ever. I’d personally opt for under the muscle if you are slim chested as it will give a much more natural appearance coming from the chest but your surgeon will decide what is best for you.

Good luck hope all goes well and I’m sure you’ll be back picking up your little boy in no time x
