Breast band – anyone had to wear one?

Hi Ladies, I had my BA on Saturday and my surgeon said I would need to wear a breast band 24/7 for 6 weeks. Has anyone else had to wear a breast band? If so, what was it like? Uncomfortable? Did you wear it all the time? I hadn’t imagined that I would need to wear one but apparently it helps with dropping and forming a better curvature results on the bottom half of the breasts. He said that the nurse could get one for me so I’m just waiting to hear back from my PC…Thanks x

I know one lady on here that had to wear one initally, dont think it was 24/7 for six weeks though! What company are you going with hun?
Your best bet it to simply do as you’re advised you’re spending alot of money, but im sure ten minutes realise every now and then wouldnt do any harm! xxx

Thanks for reply hon. With MYA, had Dr Fallahdar for my surgery two days ago. Will definitely do as I’m told!!! Just wasn’t expecting it as hadn’t heard of many others having to use one xxx

I had one for a week or so cos I had teardrops. It was a bit uncomfy but you get used to it. If you have it too tight it will ride up so don’t have it too tight. Also I found it better over my sports bra. X
