    Hi,
Has anyone on here ever undergone these two procedures at the same time? I am considering having them done but have heard lots about tummy tucks being such a long recovery time and also if you have children later on in life it can ruin it.

Long story short I used to weigh 16 stone, I now weigh 8 stone and have loose skin on my abdomen and NO boobs whatsoever 🙁 it’s making me miserable so I have taken the bull by the horns and decided to go ahead with surgery! I have my consultation with Mr Singh on the 6th March so should hopefully have a better idea of what exactly needs to be done then.

    Any advice would be great!!

Hi hun, don’t know much about them being done at the same time. But I know someone that had a tummy tuck, then had kids, and it didn’t ruin it exactly, more that she got what some ladies get after kids – an ‘apron’ of loose skin. So she felt like she ‘wasted’ the money. But if you are unmhappy, and not planning on having kids yet, then it’s money well spent. Same with boobs – some people’s boobs – augmented or not, get ruined by having kids, Mine did – that’s why the BA. My friend who had hers done when she was 30, had kids at 37 and 39 – and they have dropped a bit but not loads. I think what will happen is hard to predict. But if you want kids soon, I would leave both til after. Otherwise, go for it, and good luck x x x

Im only 23 and defintley don’t plan on having children in the next 5 years at least! So many other things I want to do – not to mention I couldnt afford one ha! I would have it all done tomorrow if I could – as always money gets in the way 🙁 fingers crossed with a bit of saving here and there I should be able to get it done within the next few months. I have been dieting heavily lately to try and reduce my body fat percentage as low as possible so I can see if theres any chance the skin on my abdomen would go back to normal, but being overweight for so long has definitley had a permanent impact. I will upload before and current photos of it so you can see what its like.

Kate – by all means, please add me and I will happily accept 🙂 thanks for the comment and congrats on your weightloss as well! xxxx
