Hi ladies
When I was 18 I went for a consultation about a breast enlargement and he informed me I have tubular breasts. I was really upset as I just thought they were small and a bit odd looking not that there was actually something not right with them. Unfortunately due to life etc I am yet to have an enlargement. I’ve since had 2 children and lost weight which has left me with very saggy baggy boobs. I’m now getting into a position where after I am married next year I want a breast enlargement.my partner says I don’t need one but he doesn’t understand how they make me feel. Just wondered if any ladies who have undergone an enlargement for tubular breasts could share their story and any pics with me as its so hard to find good quality pics of before and after. Thanks in advance xx
Hi Emma,
I was told I had tubular breasts at my consultation eventhough I didn’t realise before hand.. Was offered a nipple lift as she said implants alone won’t fixed this but decided to go with just the BA…
Really happy with my breasts though as I don’t think they look tubular anymore, I had a 425cc implant in my left and 375cc in my right to correct asymmetry, I will upload a before and after picture for you xx
Wow they look amazing thank you for sharing with me π my boobs were very much like your first picture but after 2 kids and a short time breastfeeding and loosing weight quickly they are more saggy now. Has definitely confirmed my wanting for an enlargement. Thanks again
I’m so nervous that I need a nipple lift! yours definitely changed shape @laurenjayne. are they unders or overs? and hp or mod plus?x
I think I would definitely need a nipple lift as mine point to the floor π they are also asymmetrical. Has anyone seen pics of an enlargement with a nipple lift to get a rough idea what it would look like?
No problem Emma βΊοΈ
Hi Alice,
Mine are Hp overs xx
Hi Emma,
Are you on the BA Facebook page? There’s a lady on there, also called Emma, who has had implants and nipple lift and reduction and they look great!
I’m having mod plus Lauren, so on hoping that also helps balance out the fullness below the nipple x
How do you get onto the ba Facebook page? Xx
I’ll have to a look tomorrow. Or search the forum for BA Facebook page. Hayley Douglas is the admin x
@laurenjayne they look fab what cc did you have?xxxx
Thank you Rebekah, I had 425cc in my left and 375cc in my right βΊοΈ Xx
Hi Alice no I’m not. Just tried to search for it on Facebook and couldn’t find it π x
This is the original post Emma:
Who would be interested in joining a Facebook group for girls thinking of or have had breast augmentations? Iβm on Facebook way more often than Iβm on the forum so I thought it might be a good idea to share photos and questions etc?
It would be TOTALLY secret so no one apart from the group can see the posts/pics etc.
Let me know girls! xx
My Facebook is https://www.facebook.com/hellocutiepie if youβd like to add me <3
Just add Hayley and send her a message saying you’d like to join. That’s what I did anyway. Hope you find it ok π it’s so helpful x
Hi ladies, I’ve been told that I require a BA and uplift on one breast due to one side being more “tubular” than the other, really worried about the outcome and debating whether to go just for the BA.. any similar stories or thoughts?
Hiya,
My breasts were tubular and asymmetrical and I’m three weeks post op and they are not what I expected, as to me they look a bit saggy and still uneven. I had round implants with 315cc in one and 355cc in the other, I also had one of my nipples lifted. I’m worried that as they drop they’ll end up looking more saggy. But to be fair they are a big improvement from what I started with, just not what I expected, guess I wanted them to look a bit more higher, fake looking, bigger and more even. I hope I like them more once they’ve settled in x x
My before photos didn’t upload, I’ll try again x x
@jacqueline1984 did you have overs or under? I have a BA booked in Feb and have tubular breasts and having 375cc round overs. My surgeon has already prepared me for possible sagging. However, they can’t be worse than what I’ve got now!! Kate xx
Hiya Kate,
I had unders as I didn’t have enough breast tissue for overs. I thought the same and mine are a big improvement from what I started with π I think my problem is that I keep comparing my breasts and op outcome to others on here too much, so I liked my implants alot more before I started doing that. I try to remember that we all started differently, all heal at different rates and I’m only 3 and a half weeks post op so I have alot of settling to go π Good luck with your op, I’m sure you’ll love them π Jackie x x
Thanks @jacqueline1984. Very reassuring! Wish you the very best with the rest of your recovery xxxxx
Hi girls, sorry I’m new! I have the same problem with my breasts, really worried about how they will look after reading all the posts on here about tubular! I’m getting the impression I’m not going to get what I want, so don’t know weather I should just stick with what I have or try a different company! How did yours all turn out? I’m worried they’re going to be sagging which is not what I want at all!
I am having an enlargement on the 1st so will upload piks for you. Mine are very similar pre op. I am having 375 or 450cc moderate overs.
@fayeaudia what type of look are you after? If you can find photos of the type of final result you’d like your surgeon will be able to tell you if it’s possible π Do your breasts currently look like my pre op photo that I’ve posted? I’m 10 weeks post op now and my breasts look alot different to the 3 weeks post op photos I posted. I’ll try and post some recent photos later on today π x x
Hiya! That’s amazing, how was the pain? Where did you get them done? Mine are more like Lauren’s before, however, your fuller breast in your before pictures is how mine are beginning to look! Yeah I would love to see some pictures if you could post some up, are you happy with the results?
Please do Kayleigh, hope all goes well! Are yours like Jacqueline’s or Lauren’s pre op? X
@fayeaudia the pain wasn’t bad, in fact I felt more discomfort rather than actual pain. I didn’t get mine done by Mya. Here are some photos I took today π To be honest, no I’m not happy with my results at this point, as my breasts are still currently uneven and I feel like one of my implants has dropped to the side rather than straight downwards and they are still different sizewise but I still have alot of healing to do so hopefully I’ll like them more in a few more months π x x
They look amazing! Why don’t you like them? Where did you get them done? Did you get overs? X
Hi all, I have tubular breast & I am having overs or partials 325cc moderate plus on 25th Jan. I am currently a 32a x
@fayeaudia Thanks π I had unders and one of my implants hasn’t fully dropped into place yet, as it’s higher on my chest than the other one, which is mainly why I’m not happy with them yet. But that breast was the smaller one that had the bigger implant, so it’s taking longer to ‘drop and fluff”. I guess I also wish I went bigger too lol Hopefully when they are fully healed (which can take upto a year), I’ll be happy with them. As this is a Mya forum we are not allowed to mention other cosmetic surgery companies by name on here but I could message you with the details of the company I went with if you’d like? x x
That would be great if you could! Oh really that’s a long time! How are you feeling doing day to day activities etc? Is it a struggle? What bra size do you wear now, if you don’t mind me asking? I think they look really good! They don’t look different at all if that’s what you’re worried about, I’m really impressed with them, makes me a lot more confident that I’m going to be happy with the results as I was a tad worried I wouldn’t like how they looked after reading posts on here about asymmetry and tubular. Xx
@fayeaudia I’ll send you a message with the details π A year is when they will be 100% completely healed and settled with no more swelling or fluffing or dropping to do and that will be the final outcome. I’ve had a really smooth recovery so far and haven’t really struggled with day to day activities much. The first few days my chest felt really tight and heavy and it was uncomfortable to move my arms and do things like brushing my hair and getting changed but I never really felt any pain, just discomfit. I stopped taking the co codamol on day 3 as they were making me feel really sick and just stuck with the paracetamol and ibuprofen. By week 2 I was beginning to feel normal again but as I had unders I wasn’t cleared to lift anything even fairly heavy until I was 6 weeks post op. So ironing was out of the question until I was 6 weeks post op, which was annoying as by then I had a huge pile of ironing lol Thanks, that’s very reassuring to hear and I’m glad you’ve found my pics helpful π I went to Ann Summers a few weeks ago and was told I’m a 34DD. But I think I’m more a 34D, which is the size sports bra I’m currently wearing. I have my 3 month post op appointment on 9th Feb, which is when my surgeon will measure me, tell me what size I am and clear me for wearing normal underwired bras again π I can’t wait to finally go bra shopping π x x
