I have had my initial consultation with my surgeon , and he has recommended I definitely need an uplift and if I dont have implants I will end up being a smaller size which is not I want, but if I do have implants as well as the uplift they may start to sag over time, due to my age, I am approaching 50 and wondering is there anyone who is around my age who has had both uplift and implants and what the results were, to give me some guidance and which surgeon did you use, would really appreciate any advice
Hi Tracy
I had an uplift & implants 4 weeks ago with mya.. my surgeon was Dr Giannas and I’m very with my results.
He did the lollipop incision so I don’t have the horizontal incision under my breast.
We are similar age and was advised exactly the same as the bigger the implant the more likely they are to sag again over time.
I had a 250cc moderate plus implant.
If you want to ask me any questions then just ask. ?
Hi Emma
Its so good to hear from someone who has had an uplift and implants at the same time, if you dont mind me asking what size was you before the op, and with the 250cc implant do they feel any bigger, I think he will only consider about the same size implant for me due to my size. Do you have any before or after pics and how was your recovery afterwards 🙂
Hi Tracy
My recovery has been great .. I’ve not experienced any pain and I only took paracetamol afterwards .. I was fully mobile.
My size before was a 34/36 empty C cup.
I’ll try and upload some pics for you ..
who is your surgeon?
I chose dr Giannas as he has a very good reputation with his stitching and with the uplift I thought this was important to me.
He’s such a nice guy I saw him 3 times before my surgery as I was freaking out what size implant to have .. he suggested 275cc but he said no bigger. I am bigger than before but I’m really happy with the size I think I’m around a 34 dd/e but they don’t actually look that big.
It’s not letting me upload pics unfortunately .. are you on WhatsApp?
They actually look bigger in the pics than they do in real life.
My biggest fear was having big boobs but in fact I wish I went for the 275cc.
They look absolutely fab, and you can hardly see the scarring I had my initial consultation with Dr Traynor and I know he is very blunt and straight to the point , and I am not expecting to look like a 20 year old again, but I did come out feeling a bit deflated so I am going to book in for a second opinion with one of the other surgeons, he did say I would need the anchor cut as well, I am currently a very saggy 32D if I could get results like yours I would be more than happy, and Iit sounds like you did really well with your recovery as well x
Thank you ☺️
I’m so pleased with my results and I haven’t put anything on the scars yet.
I would definitely recommend Dr Giannas but I don’t know if he does clinics near you as my MYA clinic is Bristol.
He did say to me that he tries not to do the anchor Incision if he can help it.
It’s so hard trying to make all the right decisions isn’t it.
I would do it all again tomorrow.
Xxx
These are great
Are these high profile and round implant ? X
Oh my gosh mine and yours look so alike (except I have one very wonky one)😂 but for my not wonky one it’s like looking at my own😂
