    Hola!

So looking through the forums it’s really hard to find an actual thread on breast uplift only for moderately sagging breasts – so I thought I’d share mine for anyone anxious for surgery as I am!

I’m 29 and currently wear a 34D bra but have moderately sagging breasts – I’m having an uplift in 3 days at Harley Heath with Mr Samouris

Notes on how I’ve been preparing for surgery:

    – I’ve been doing 30 mins of cardio 5 days a week to sweat out any toxins and nicotine I’ve been advised to stop for the last 4 weeks

    – I drink at least 3 pints of water and eat really healthy meals – breakfast usually is Greek yoghurt and blueberries, lunch is tuna salad and dinner is either steak or chicken salad.

    – I’ve bought a V pillow, Bio oil, dry shampoo, baby wipes (all from Amazon at reasonably good prices!)

    – I’ll be meal prepping a day before surgery so my partner can just grab a Tupperware from the fridge for 3 days post op when I’m hungry, reduces stress in my opinion!

Things I’ve come across that sort of surprised me during the process of getting to this point:

    – My doctors charged me £65 for a doctors note that basically said exactly what my free summary said – which is kind of annoying! It was because I take sertraline and the surgeon wanted to double check I was fit for surgery mentally – which again, is fine! Just an unexpected expense

    – I’ll have to be alone on the day of my surgery as they don’t allow visitors

I’ll update again after surgery, however if anyone has any questions or topics to add please do! Xx

So I’m 5 days post op, just to update on what’s happened so far:

6th July – surgery day!: I travelled down to Harley Heath Village (London) and arrived 15 mins early. The receptionist let me in and I filled out a form and chose my meal that I’d be having once I woke up which was nice! I probably sat in reception for 10 minutes, then got taken down to my room. There the nurse asked me questions, asked to do a pregnancy test and weighed me for final checks – then Mr Samouris (surgeon) came in, very friendly, took measurements and did his drawings. The anaesthetist then came in to introduce himself – super friendly also! Really reassuring whilst he put me out too. My admission time was 7am and I went into surgery by 9 which felt super quick! Woke at 10:30ish and the nurses looking after me were so lovely. Honestly I cannot fault my experience at the hospital, everyone was so reassuring and friendly. Even one of the ladies IN the surgery room before I was put out was reassuring me and being so kind.

My food was brought to me and I had a nice cup of tea – told the nurse I was in a bit of pain and she sorted me right out. I was up and dressed by 12:30 and my partner had me back in the car and on the way home by 1pm with all of my aftercare and prescription instructions.

I will say, when I initially woke up, I was in so much pain – but honestly as soon as the nurse came back in and topped my drug’s up it was bearable.

So I have some pics post op for the first few days! Tomorrow I’ll be getting my dressings changed with the nurse 🙂

Hey Ells, how come you were just a day case? Is it because it was an uplift without implants? Happy recovery! Glad you’re healing well so far xx

    Hiya

I believe so! I didn’t have implants so I guess they didn’t need to monitor me for longer I suppose 🙂

With my uplift they just did an anchor incision, removed skin and brought my nipples up!

I’ve tried doing before and afters but for some reason I can’t get anything to upload lol!
