hya, im having a breast uplift on the 9th of june, i also wanted implants but the surgon said that i have to much volume in my breast to have the large implant i wanted, and it could possibly drop, ill keep u updated when ive had my op and tell u about the results, i found the same prblem as you, no info on maxopexy xxx
Hi Mandymoo, I was just wondering where you got your BA done and who your surgeon was? Just wondered as I want to go as big as possible but my surgeon has said he would only give me 380’s.
hi sam….its understandable you’ll have loads of questions….you’re welcome to pm me on sofem if its easier
are you having the 460 under the muscle with the uplift? thats what i had to have, as my surgeon thought it may cause another rupture if i had overs again
the pics on sofem at the mo arent uptodate as they change every day at the mo lol!! they were lovely and big with all the swelling, but since day 8 or 9 practically all the swellings gone, and i feel a bit disappointed with the size…i’m still in a 34F sports bra…they just dnt look tht big to me!! i asked my surgeon to put the biggest in that he could, but he said any bigger and my wounds wouldnt have healed as they would keep breaking open with the pressure from the implants….so if you want a nice big size, when you go to theatre, do as i did, and just ask your surgeon to try and get in the biggest implant he can fit without it causing problems with scars splitting etc
i felt ok emotionally for about the first 7days, but as soon as the bandages came off i was soooo depressed and couldnt stop crying, but after talking to a few girls on another forum, i feel 100% better, plus i got some of the special surgical oil from my hospital, and am using it directly on the scars twice a day, and already i can start to see improvements.physically it was pretty bad for about the first 8 or 9 days…..my sister washed my hair on day 7 when i could bear to bend over the bath, and its only the last day or two i’ve felt able to maybe wash a few pots, hang the washing out etc, but even then i can feel it pulling inside so i have to stop. i’m such a busy person normally, i’m finding it so hard not being able to do my housework, walk my dogs etc, but i know i have to take it easy….with an uplift AND unders, your body suffers so much more trauma…plus i had to have my ruptured implant scraped out…sounds awful, but apparently it had totally disintegrated, and it took ages to get all the silicone out, so one boob is still quite a bit bigger than the other
hmmm….not sure why they didnt cover my nipples with dressings….they put the dressings right over all the stitches if you know what i mean? but my god…i hadnt been prepared for the pain in my nipples lol!! it feels like someones jabbing needles in mthem every so often…but i’ve been told that thats the nerves all knitting back together, so i take it as a good sign
hmmm..swelling…..they’re still rock hard and wont even budge yet lol!! they’re still numb, and the skins tight…today is day 12 for me. from what i can gather, unders take at least 4mths to see the finished results, as they need to soften, and ”drop” into their pocket, and i’ve been told by my PC that i’ll hopefully end up an E or if i’m lucky, an F….feel down about that as i really wanted to get to a FF as i was a DD with my last implants
god…feel like i’ve rabbited on!! hope i’ve answered all you want to know at the mo, but like i said, pls pm me on sofem if you need to know anything else, or even if you want to just talk to someone after the surgery to compare notes!! and yes….despite all the pain, i am so glad i’ve had it done…i know that my end result will look fab, cos sooo many other girls have told me . good luck for tues hun. i’ll be thinking of you xxxx
hi mandymoo, iam having a uplift and implants with 460cc on tuesday, i looked at your pics on sofem which they look great! looking at yr frame size your smaller than me i”d say iam about 1 stone heavier than you, how do you feel your boobs are with your size frame? im just wondering now whether i should go bigger than 460cc because maybe mine wont look as big on me? a lot of girls say they wished they”d gone bigger so now im unsure maybe i should go bigger??!! how do you feel 11 days post op? how much pain are you in/where you in? When could you wash your hair ive been told i wont be able to manage that for a while i”ll have to get sumone else to do it for me?! can i ask why do the banages and dressing leave your nipples out? sorry just was surprised and wondered why they do that? is there still swelling now or is that the size they will stay now? sorry about all these questions – thought i was sorted with it all but it seems the nearer its gets the more questions i have in my head all day long lol!! thanks sam xx
Hi there!! i had uplift and breast implants!! i was a saggy 34b after having 2 kids, and i had 340cc covers and now a 32e! my stats are 5 foot 6 and size 10-12 and i am 29 years old!! check out my pics on sofem i am janey22 and password is boobies however i went with transform, please feel free to email me if you wanna ask me anything!” i can also email you my pics aswell. just put it on here!! my uplift was done very very well” and very neat! to sday i had my nipple re positioned ans sewn back on you can hardly tell!” i am sooo happy with them! and there really pert! check out my pics XXXXX
hi stephanie, i’ve just my old implants out as one ruptured, and i’ve just had an uplift and 460cc unders done on the 12th april….am currently 11 days post op
i’ve got pics on sofem….user name mandymoo67…. password 460cc
yes, the scars ARE horrendous at first, and i couldnt stop crying when i first saw them….you’ll see on the pics just how bad they looked to start off with, but i’ve been using the special surgical oil for 3 days now, and i can see a difference straightaway
it took me a lot of guts to post the scar pics, but i knew there’d be other girls having the exact same op, and i always think its better to be prepared….
are you having overs or unders with the uplift?

I didnt have my areola trimmed, feel they could have been really, it was so unfair we couldnt just have a ba lol
Started driving after 10 days or so but was bit uncomfy where the seat belts rests, got to 4/5 wks and felt so much better and more like myself, didnt lift any heavy shoppin etc until wk 4 or more, started hoovering after 4 wks aswell. Im 9 wks post op (god thats gone quick) and feel much more positive than i did for the 1st four.

Hi tickyv no drains but really dont like my scarring!!Had to have areola trimmed too they quite small now my rt boob is v bad all puckered&looks like it never gona heal??I have looked on internet at b4&after pics of uplift&implants&must admit most of them after 6 to 9months looks fine just cant see it at the mo as they look quite bad!Wen did u feel bk to normal i.e going shopping hoovering driving if u feel that yet??xx
Hi Polly
Congratulations, you did it, worst is over, we dont half worry too much before hand dont we?
Im surprised you have seen your scars yet, i saw mine afer 10 ten days, keep wearing your bra day and nite and take it really easy, enjoy this time, dont over do it as you dont want to delay any healing etc.
When i 1st saw my scars i felt like frankinstein, i took pics on my mobile each wk and noticed an improvement especially at wk 4. Did you have drains? i did, so nice when all the wires etc are taken off. x
Hi ticky v all done!Really dont like the look of my scars looks like ive been butchered!I no damn well they will look good but just wished i cud of had a normal implant!Chest is tight&ribs r bruised the size is good not to big not to small the hosp experience was fine wished i hadnt worried so much! How u doing?x
Hi Polly
You will not look freaky at all. in a bra they will look fab, obviously there are more scars but will fade in time. I had over the muscle, my friend had a ba, she had 320cc in one and 160cc in the other, under the muscle, they look amazing.
I had 325cc and am now a 38d, my surgeon got the size perfect for what i asked for, i had medium profile and paid an extra
Hi Polly
I know exactly what you mean, i went through so many different feelings, scared, worried, am i doing the right thing, taking out loan for 5 yrs etc. im a bit like that as well always thinking what i could be doing instead of just sitting. Its not as bad as you expect, after 2 days i could make a brew and just potter around. couldnt flush the toilet for 1st 2 days lol, i feel totally bk to normal now, did take me to 56 wks post op tho, just take it easy dont over do it, remember you will be healing inside aswell as out. i was worried about infection after so i really didnt over do it, it is major surgery but worth it. are you having implants over muscle? x
Hiya Polly,
I can only talk about normal implants(no uplift) but 10 years ago I had implants under the muscle. Its was really painful for me when I woke up …I couldn’t move my arms for 7 days..I felt like i’d ripped a really bad muscle in my chest..couldn’t brush my teeth for a week…tried to put my key in my car door after 5 days couldn’t even do that. It was horrendous pain!!! I had a 2nd BA 10 years later and it was totally different pain a lot easier, even though they were under again i think the muscle and skin must have stretched a bit as the pain wasn’t half as bad!!. I do feel under the muscle is a bit more painful as the surgeon has to cut the muscle. I had no choice but to have unders both times as I had no skin!. I do feel having under the muscle hides the implant a bit!! Wish I had more skin!!!
Not sure if this applies to an uplift and having implants under but thought I’d share my experience of implants under…
emmaxx
Its me again ive been reading the girls experiences&the girls who just have implants over the muscle seem to recover alot beter than having an uplift&implants under the muscle??I feel like im going to have major surgery compared to normal implants??xx
Hi Tickyv thanx for replying!Im hopefully going for a full c im to a saggy odd b!I have to have different sizes in each boob really cant rem wot tho must phone hosp&ask them again? My 3rd child breast feed for 10months but decided to only feed from the left boob after 4months so they are uneven&was a bit b4 anyway!Having it done at the Rivers in harlow my surgeon is called Mr.Carver!Im soo scared&at times exited but more scared im geting anxious at home&being bad tempered i know i should be really happy coz getting it done tho.Worried bout recovery as my little girl 18months v clingy to me!Also cant sit still for long&always cleaning etc…Really just wanted implants but like u have to have an uplift. When did u feel sort of normal again?Soo glad got someone to talk to.xx
How much is it costing for the uplift and implants transform have asked for
Hi Polly
Im 7 wks post op after having an uplift with 325 cc implants, ask away anything you want to know.
Ive had 2 kids 21 & 13 and lost 3 stone in weight in the last 18 mths, was a c cup at my heaviest then went down to a saggy/empty b cup.
I had a lady surgeon at the Manchester clinic, was gutted i needed an uplift as i was worried about the scarring, i have scars around my nipples and down (not under) which was a plus point when deciding on the surgeon. After ten days when all the bandages came off i did get a bit of a shock due to stitches etc but each week they are totally improving. They look and feel natural i can tell the scars will look good after time. Who are you going with and which clinic? x
Im having uplift&implants on 19th sept&really nervous! Please tell me how it went&wots recovery like anyone whos had this op??Ive got 3 kids but will get help from hubby&mum but im a chicken when it comes to theatres&needles wouldnt believe i work on a surgical ward!!x
Hi Mila-I have just read your blog and wondered how you have been getting on?Did you manage to get sorted out?Soniax
Hi becca87,
Thanks so much for that. I hope it goes really well- My god you must be so excited, its so near the time now!!
I noticed you posted on another related thread about your op being a bit too complicated for one of the surgeons…..
I hope you don’t mind my asking but I was just intrigued to know what happened- wondering whether they will think my case is also too complicated now! I have my surgeon consultation tomorrow and through this whole thought process of wanting my uplift done I have been worried about what can REALLY be achieved.
I feel its easier for girls who had small boobs alone to start with to get a good result- Thats if I go by the before and after results I have looked at in hundreds of photos all over the net. Because there has been little or no scarring with those patients, and because their boobs were perky to start with I am scared that mine won’t come out too great.
Sorry I am not meaning to scare you or put doubts in your head in any way- just that since you mentioned that op may be too complicated for one surgeon you’ve seen its got me thinking even more now!
My case is that I currently have the opposite prob to you in that I have been told I have too LITTLE breast tissue present to opt NOT to have the implants. I’m only 24 so its not down to aging and I have no kids so i haven’t breast fed- just that I have inherited a flat sort of breast shape where they are actually quite small (a 36B) but any breast that I DO have present is quite low down and they droop like stones in socks! 😥 Its a mix of that and yo-yo dieting I think- because at my bigger stages I found that they didn’t hang as much as they do now, after shedding three stone.
Thing is, I DO want implants with a simultaneous lift, though I am going for C/D results as i am only 5′ 2″ with a moderately small frame. I just want them to look like nice, perky, 24 year old’s breasts that I can opt to wear no bra with certain tops once its done. So far I have been to a number of consultations with different clinics and they have also said my procedure may be a little ‘tricky’ too due to my natural breast shape. Its hard to explain, they’re not big or heavy but because of lack of volume in the portion of breast above the areola I can’t even get a cleavage with a wonderbra AND chicken fillets, and they said it will be difficult to achieve that perky look I am after because of my natural breast composition.
Sorry I have just ranted about myself- just that I really need someone who is going for the same procedure as me to talk to about all this stuff!
All the very best of luck with yours!
Mila

:confused::confused:Hi!
I see loads of discussions on enlargements alone but I need to get a lift as well as an augmentation if I want the results to look good.
I am only 24 but hate my boobs as they have always been naturally saggy in shape and really want to get this corrected. Only thing is that I can’t really find any patient stories on uplifts as well as augmentations. Anyone out there in the same boat, or does anyone have any stories on how the results have turned out?
Cheers!
Mila.

Anchovie, l had breast uplift and enlargement 24 days ago. Original stats were
5ft 4inches, 9st 4 approx,34b/c wanted to aim for dd cup full projected and thought that having overs would show signs of rippling.
After seeing the surgeon advising me that l was best to have overs as l had plenty of breast tissue to cover the implant and would let me go to a max full d so 310cc l was little disapointed. However when l tried on vests with my pc she said to order 340cc as well and on the day of surgery to agree to try these instead. This is what l have so in a sports bra 34DD ))
To this day the scars have healed fantastically around my nipple looks like its been placed back with glue. Really good experience. Everybody is different and everybody does heal at different paces. My nurse said l was a miracle healer. l have olive skin and thought l would heal over alonger time.
Feel free to have a look at my pics huni l will request u xx
Hi I am 2 day post op abosolutley in love my new babies 🙂 after having my little girls a losing all my baby weight my boobs just disappeared 🙁 I had uplift and augumentation with 380cc in my left boob and 340 in my right boob, this is the best decision I have made. My movements are restricted and I can’t sleep lying flat but I’m sure this only lasts for a weeks? As anyone got any advice for pain and itchyness? X
I had an uplift and implants 3 months ago.feel free to sdd xxx
Can I also just say girls that at just 3 months post op I have no pain at all can sleep on my front and they look natural. The swelling went down and they felt small but have since dropped and feel bigger than ever xxx
How long was it before you could lie flat? I have also had under the muscle implants not sure if that’s why I’m in pain. How long does the itchyness last and should I leave my bra off at all or keep it on at all times? Xx
Hi…I would keep your bra on at all times.i was lieing flat at 2 weeks and on my tummy at 10 weeks xxx
Yeah I thought so Hun how often did you change your bra I have 3 different ones I want to keep them as clean as possible xx
I’m hoping to get all unwrapped on Monday at the Manchester clinic 🙂 I had Gary traynor and he as done an amazing job
I just swapped and changed with bras.didnt like the macom.i had dr mounir.hes fantastic. Xxx
I have a really good fasten up the front one from asda on and i have 2 high impact ones from m&s which I still need to try on xx
I am having an uplift and implants with Mr mounir on 18th June. 340cc overs.. I have got a 19 week old so she will be 6monthe come my op. My partner and mum have took some time off to help but still a bit worried how long it’s going to be before I can pick her up as she is very clingy to me xxx
I have a 3 year old and 1 year old who is very clingy it is hard, I have my partner off work with me and my mum next week. I do think you have to wait the whole 6 weeks before lifting again x
Hey,
I’m the same age as you and life took effect! I went to a G in pregnancy, a full dd when breastfeeding and down to a empty b with weight loss. I was shocked when told id need an uplift and rather upset as id already got my surgery date for a weeks time. the hardest thing for me was taking away the option of breastfeeding, however I had to weigh that up against the facr we’ve already had 6 months of fertility treatment with no effect so in the end I went for it as I was miserable with my body. however an rmotional journey as it was the end of my baby bearing body!!! Recovery was okay, in hospital I was surprised how okay I felt but the days that followed were a test because I couldnt move my arms which makes everything just plain old difficult!!! however at 2 weeks I was pretty good. healing is amazing although for the past 3 weeks ive had an infection getting worse on one side and not responding to meds which is makung me feel grotty and upset as I dont know how that particular area will heal. but.,., I love them. im happy.
Hey I went to a G with my 1st baby and H with my 2nd and then weight loss and I never thought at the age of 27 I would need a lift but I’m over the moon with them. How did you get an infection if you don’t mind me asking? Hope your ok? X
