Brest band.

Hi girls, I had my op yesterday and I’m so pleased with them. I’ve got a Brest band on and it’s so painfull I feel like I can’t breath I don’t have pain anywhere else other than that. I haven’t slept coz the bands so tight. Does anyone know if I can take it off and have a rest just to be able to take a few deep breaths?

Was it the nurse that put it on? I have one too and I wasn’t sure how tight it was meant to be it was giving me a bad back it was so tight, I asked the nurse at my 1 week PO check and she loosened it so much I had basically bruised my chest I had it so tight haha! I take mine off for little breaks throughout the day too just for a breather it won’t harm your implants it just helps them settle into place quicker 🙂 hope your recovery goes well xxx

Yeah she put it on so tight ? It’s really digging on one side I just want to take it off. I’m going to change my bra coz it’s got stitching down the side that’s digging in also. Thanks Hun I think I’ll give them a little brake so I can breath properly. Xx

How long have you been told to wear your breast bands for? My surgeon told me 6 weeks!! ? Xx

30 days I was told Tracey! I’m 15 days PO now so 15 more to go haha! Can’t wait it doesn’t bother me too much but I don’t wear it anywhere near as tight as some girls I don’t think so that’s probably why! Xxx

I’m not to sure they didn’t say but it’s so painfull now it’s making me feel sick it’s hurting that much ? I think it’s a bit tight to be honest. Xx

I had to wear it for 4 weeks. They said as long as it’s putting pressure on the implants to help them drop then it’s tight enough xx

I’ve loseend it off a bit now but I can’t tighten it again coz the left boob is so sore I feel like someone is pulling something trough it. Is this normal? Xx

Don’t have it too tight Hun as mine was so tight it was hurting my stitches. Loosen it off youl feel loads better for it 🙂 xxx

Mines not too cumfy either but I’m bothered about when I go back to work next week…I’m not sure what I’ll wear coz you’ll most probably be able to see it…unless I wear a roll neck jumper but then I’ll be sweating!! ? Xx

i lived in about 4 different jumpers. just kept washing n wearing coz it was the only 4 that covered it well lol i would really struggle if i had them done in june/july!xx

I know that’s what I though! Can you imagine trying to find anything to wear if it was summer!! I’ll just have to do my shirts up an extra button ? Xx
