Bruised shattered and fed up

4 days post op I’m feeling sick, bloated, bruised, and I haven’t slept.i feel useless. I can’t believe I have done this to myself . I’m so fed up now . I wanted new boobies for ages but new thought I’d feel like this!

Am I just being miserable or goes anyone else feel like this is thus normal ?

I think it’s normal to feel quite down for the first few days, it will likely be over soon and you’ll be back to normal, I felt awful on day three but felt better by midday day four xx

And just think it will all be worth It in the end, chin up 🙂 xxx

How’s your sickness now ?

It’s pretty much gone now, I just feel off every now and then, I’m on day five now… At first I thought it was the co-codamol, so I swapped to paracetamol as I don’t really have any pain (i had overs) but I’d been sick, I had a really awful tummy and had like three nose bleeds yesterday, I asked my nurse about it when she rang and she said its quite common to get nausea from the antibiotics but I’ve carried on with them anyway and I’m fine today and I was most of yesterday, I think it was just the stress on my body from the surgery. I seem to feel better when I eat more xx

I’m glad your feeling better x I had overs too but I don’t deal with pain well!
This forum has been a great help to me keeping me going x

Hey, sorry to hear you’re feeling like this. I had a wobble of feeling really miserable & upset on Sunday . Think you need to remember your body has been through a lot & it’s going to take time plus all the tablets don’t help. I’ve dropped everything bar from my antibiotics now as I hated how they were making me feel so going to see how I get on. My only tip for sleeping is a mountain of pillows behind me that I kind of lean back in to. Once you’ve got over this first week or so I’m sure you’ll be so glad you’ve done it and got the boobs you’ve always wanted

It’s hard cos I want to clean and cook but I feel useless x I have put a pic on of my bruising I’m not sure if it’s normal !! I am only taking my antibiotics now as I was just sleeping on the painkillers. Thus will be worth it I know but it’s just getting to the end !

I think everyone is pretty similar ladies x I think we are also used to being able to carry on regardless when we get ill but this time we can’t and we know we have done this to ourselves xit won’t be for long and it will all be worth it in the end xx I’m absolutely bored out of my tree I’ve loads to do but can’t manage too much at the moment x I’ve got two antibiotics left thank god my stomach will be so glad when I finish them tonight xI think it is them that make you sickly and bloated I’ve had to go back on the senakot as I’ve had no pain killers at all since Friday xxx big hugs and keep smiling in a few weeks when we all go for our new bras we will be grinning from ear to ear xx

A few weeks from now we will all be happy proud owners of perfect boobs !!

If it wasn’t for u guys I dead to think where I would be xx

Its totally normal hun, its the POST OP BLUES, dont worry after two weeks post op you should start to feel better xx

It doesn’t help when your friend comes and tells you that they are still small !!!
She won’t be back !

Am sure that’s probably just a little thing called jealousy, best ignored!! xx
