Bruising ?? Is this normal ?

I am 10 days post op and my bruising seems to be getting worse. My incisions are very sore as well! On my left side where my bruising is near my incision line it feels very hard / lumpy? Has anyone else experienced this?? I am a worrier and I’m so scared something wrong! I just can’t imagine going through the surgery again.

I haven’t had my surgery yet so my advice might mean nothing lol but you have to remember your body has been through a trauma, your muscles will be relaxing which might make your incisions feel sore and bruising sometimes takes a while to come out properly. Give your pc a call for peace of mind and try not to worry so much 🙂 xx

Yeah it’s perfectly normal. Your body has been through some trauma. Some people just bruise more than others. Here’s mine at POD7 and the bruising cleared up yesterday POD20 ?

Yeah most of the girls have gotten away with it lightly. Not us though ? I even took arnica tablets ? my scars were lumpy to begin with, they have healed up so well though. I’d try not to worry too much. And speak to the nurse for piece of mind. It’s what we paid all that money for! Happy healing ? xxx
