Bruising spreading up towards nipple :(

4days po and just noticed there is bruising showing through my banadges and spreading upwards towards the nipple, is this normal? Really worried xx

I’m sure it’s fine bruising can come out after a few days and some bruise more than others, I didn’t have any bruising but I’ve seen ppl black n blue, your boobs have been through a lot of trauma, message ur pc if ur concerned but I’m sure it’s normal xx

Hi the nurse who took my drains out said that my right boob was quite bruised under, and it’s the same boob I keep getting pain in, also finding any bra (even Macom) uncomfortable around the bandage area…now I know why cos I’m so bloody bruised lol
I’m not too worried about being bruised as such, just that it’s spread upwards towards the nipple….:/ xx

mine was like that this morning but nurse said its fine so dont worry hunni xx

Thank you Yvonne will check with nurse tomorrow and just see what she says….spoke to her earlier but didn’t notice this till after lol xx

Ouch that looks so painful, I think I have the same thing hiding behind my strapping! Is it really tender to touch it? Xx

I don’t touch it, but been getting tender bruised sore stinging feeling out of the blue , even the Macom hurts it….have to keep lifting the bottom of the bra away from the bandage lol xx

Going by what you described if should imagine you have…..and our surgery dates were literally hours apart xx

I keep touching it, I’m so bad lol. Yeah my Macom hurts it as well, I’ve removed it for like half hour it’s such a relief! How’ve you been coping with everything? Xx
