Hey Girls,
I’m 3 weeks post op and had uplift and BA. Although the bruising on my breasts has improved a lot I still have visible bruising on my left breast. How long did everyone elses bruising take to go? I appreciate that an uplift will cause more bruising than a BA but I thought it would be gone now…. Ive been taking arnica tablets as well…
Thanks 🙂
Hey huni mine took a long time for the bruising to go xx
That’s good to know…. I never really knew what to expect but thought maybe bruising would be gone sooner rather than later. xxx
It takes a long time they went through a big op
Hi
Hope you dont mind me posting, I have just joined the forum. I am due to have an uplift and replacement implants on Thursday.
I am really nervous and keep thinking am I doing the right thing (I suppose most people feel like this).
The thing that bothers me the most is the scarring, can I please ask how are your scars have they healed OK, I know over time the scars will improve but are they very noticable.
Thanks xx
Hi Vanessa,
Its the best thing I have ever done. The scars are worse than a normal BA but having seen some of the scarring on ladies that are 1 year PO you can barely see them. I’m only 3 weeks post op but very happy with the results so far just want the bruising to go away!!
Feel free to add me to see my pics x
Anyone else that can let me know how long their bruising lasted….?
I’m having my BA and uplift in 6 days and I’m worried about scarring but it’s a small price to pay for boobs I’ll hopefully love. Any scaring will be better than my saggy dogs ears haha I hope the bruising isn’t too horrific aswell but I suppose it’s a big trauma to the skin xxx
I’m getting involved again ha ha……I’m 5 weeks post op and my scars are barely visible.i have unfortunately contracted an infection that has left me with a penny sized hole in incision.1-4% chance.im heartbroken but was aware these things can happen. I have to say though that my scars are incredible and mr mounir has done a fantastic job. I actually did not have a single bruise from day one of my op xxx
Also I took arnica before and after the op xxx
Hi All
Thanks for your responses. Ha ha saggy dog ears, that made me laugh!!!!
Julie I hope your infection goes really quick xx
Kelbel many thanks you have put my mind at rest, have you tried arnica cream to rub on the bruises, my friend has used it and said it really helped x
I got my stuff ready last night it seems real now, cant understand why I am so nervous my first BA I wasnt bothered at all, I suppose I am older now and having a bigger op. I was going to wait for a few more years as my current implants I have no problems with but as they are PIP and I have had them in for over 14 years thought I’d got for it.
The surgeon is giving me my old implants back lol – well I have carried them round all those years. I think I’ll frame them and put them in my bedroom lol.
xx
