Call from nurse asking me to go back into hospital

Just had a phone call from my nurse regarding my right boob I’ve got to be back at the first trust hospital for 2pm today surgeon wants to see me and find out what’s going on might have to go back into theatre so no eating or drinking xxx

Hi kym my right boob has swollen right up in last 24 hours and has a bruise type feeling nurse though it might be a soroma so surgeon wants me back at hospital instead of clinic to moz xxx

Oh hun, so sorry to hear that! Im having dr. Mounir at the end of July, you are in safe hands. On the bright side they are willing to check you earlier rather than later despite dr.Traynor being on holidays. Hope you feel better xx

I had the same happen with mr mounir couple of hours after surgery my right breast went really swollen and i went back down to surgery to have it drained out and ever since it’s been fine I’m now 7 weeks po and had no more complications x

Just an update on for you girls I seen mr mournir and I do have a build up of fluid/soroma but he’s giving me till Monday to see if my body can get rid of it as he didn’t want to re op straight away as my scars and boobs other than this fluid are healing extremely well and he didn’t want to put me back to square one with recovery I’ve got to keep taking ibuprofen over weekend plenty of rest and ice packs on it if no change by Monday Ill be having re op that week as he can’t leave it any longer than that @laura I’ve been feeling well and healing well apart from this xxx

Thanks @claudine I can’t fault mya for the service soo far I’d had to have to go back down to theatre next week so I’ve got everything crossed for me but on the other hand if there’s something going on I’d rather it be sorted sooner rather then later I will keep this forum updated aswell xxx

@stacey what!!!!!!! so much for a drama free recovery huh!!!!! honestly ladies, ive learnt that there’s soooo much more important than just the size of the new boobs, hope you dont have to re-op stacey and that everything goes well! <3 xxxx

@sylvianna honestly I’m prying I don’t need re op as everything else is going soo
Prefect there really is more important things to consider besides size of implants I’m so glad I researched everything down to what could go wrong b for I had my op so I was a lil prepared if anything like this did happen it’s so important to look after them afterwards aswell xx

@stacey Hey sorry to hear this you must be so worried! Have you got nay photos by any chance? My left went more swollen yesterday and I’m going in today but they’ve told me its not much to worry about but Im so worried! Would like to see if yours are like mine with the difference, can I add you? x

Yeah you can add me Hun by all means I have photos but you accually can’t tell in the photos or from the front view as it’s mainly around my armpit top of boob they are hoping it sorts it self out over the weekend if not then it’s a re op and my nurse said it’s normal for swelling but not normal to swell up more after initial swelling so you do right to go get checked Hun I wouldn’t worry tho Hun easier said than done I know I’m not worrying about mine but that’s because I’m soo laid back and not a worrier at all if I need a re op I’d rather them do it sooner rather than later down the line and have more complications with it xxx

@stacey, yeah exactly!!!! it’s all going swimmingly for you so hoping this is just a glitch, dont think they will put you under so fingers crossed x and yeah hun i thought i did my research but im learning more each time – post-op care is THE main factor that determines how your final results are gonna be, so just trying to look after the twins xxxx

@sylvianna I’m hoping they don’t either and everything starts going back to normal for me it’s defo all a learning curve and I totally agree that post op care is very important xx
