Can a person stay overnight?

Hey guys, was just wondering.. I’m a day case surgery but if there was any complications etc and needed to stay overnight can your person occupying you stay aswell? I’m having it done at the Fitzroy x

I’ve been wondering whether if you do stay in overnight but you’re technically only a day case, what is the financial cost?

I asked my PC this and she said if you have to stay in from a day case due to medical complications you don’t pay anything else as it’s not your choice it’s a choice made for you by a medical professional for what’s best for you, hope this makes sense xx

Helen your right I was meant to of been a day case yesterday I ended up staying in over night choice made by my nurse, cos I couldn’t stop being sick. And I was charged for it X

Was your occupier allowed to stay on the ward too? Or did they have to go home and come back in the morning ? at least werent charged!x
