can i drive 5 days post op?

i’m spending a fortune on taxis…do you think i would be ok driving again tomorrow, i will be 4 days post op. i will have been off all my pain meds 2 days, and i have very minimal pain..it won’t be long journeys, just to and from work? also how long did it take you to get behind the wheel? i have had a BA x

You won’t be covered by insurance hun, most are seven days after a GA, check with them first, or if anything awful happened, god help xx

Mine was 10 days after GA for my first op, luckily I couldn’t manage driving, this time was seven days, and I was back behind the wheel as soon as I was allowed xx

I drove on day 10, was still a painful getting into 5th gear but everything else was fine x

I waited for a week…and I was scared lol! Felt strange and the seatbelt wasn’t very comfortable. XX

i drove when i felt comfortable, prob about 5 days
