can i go in water 3 week post op??

wanting to go on holiday next week, will i be able to go in the water (not for long)

No! Six weeks hunny, it may not be clean enough and cause infection, this is what sergeon told me but I do have more scares than u, so u may be ok, maybe best to ask ur nurse chick xxxx

Your supposed to wait six weeks hun, as keeping your scars wet for prolonged periods of time can cause infection, also all the chemicals could too

6 weeks? when i thought i would be able to shower after bandages are off today. Or is it swimming etc? x

Six weeks is keeping them prolonged wet, like a bath, or swimming.
Showering is fine as the water is cascading down and hardly touching your incisions xx

I got told six weeks because it can cause infection if kept wet for a length of time xx

im allowed to shower today and i know im not allowed to keep them wet for long, i just mean like if i go on a slide ect? if the cuts are closed anyway?

I wouldn’t risk a slide either you fool lol, only kidding calling u names, but you have paid a lot of money for these new assets look after them it’s not got ever then u will be back to normal, don’t know if you are going somewhere hot but keep your scares out if the sunlight as they heal darker if not x
