Can I remove strapping?? Help :(

I’m 7 days po and my strapping isn’t coming off till Tuesday as I couldn’t get an appointment earlier. It’s starting to rub and bleeding slightly. Will it matter too much if I remove it myself?? It’s really irritatating and I know it’s only 2 more nights but I’m itching (literally) to get it off! Please help ladies! Any one removed their strapping on their own??

I removed mine after 4 days as I couldn’t take the itchiness and I was fine if you’ve had it on for 7 days I would say it will be okay to take it off just put a sports bra on so you have support xx

i spoke to the nurse yesterday as my strapping has been hurting and itching too. she told me not to take it off as if i do i wont be covered if any problems arrise after xxx

? yeah…that makes sense! I have managed to Loosen it on the sides a bit, it’s made me a little more comfortable. Just so annoying that I’m having to wait two extra days! Where is it you are having your strapping removed @suzanne ? I’m so anxious to see my new additions! Lol xXx

I had to wear mine for 11 days !! It was torture towards the end and made me feel miserable but I wouldn’t have taken it off – it’s put on for a reason X Tuesday will soon come round x

Hi Hun I also got Frustrated with the strapping as it was really itchy, phoned up the clinic on Thursday to ask if it was ok to take it off myself and she said no I will have to wait until I see the nurse which wasn’t until Saturday x

You will be covered as you have had it on for the 7 days your suppose to you’ve just got to have it on an extra 2 days because that’s the only appointment you could get xx
