Can I request my BA date?

Hello. I am wondering wether it will be possible to request a certain date for the operation? I don’t get much time off work and cant book any off as and when i need to. I am worried about having time to recover. I have to book my holidays a year in advance. I have 3 weeks off starting from July 18th. Is this possible?

Yes you can book a date that pretty much fits with you, it just depends on what surgeon you want and when their operating days are. Usually there may be a 1 or 2 day difference between when you want and when they can are in thetre but you’ll definitely be able to sort something that far in advance and plan work hols around it xx
