Can I take my steri strips off?

Basically I am 10 days post op can I take my steri strips off now and have a normal shower? Xxxxxxx

I took mine of today was strapped up for a week then they put strips on for 3 days my scars are brilliant x

I was strapped up for a week also then the nurse put steri strips on for 3 days today is the 10th day should I take them off? I’m really scared to lol I don’t know why xxxx

Just took the plunge and took them off they are a bit scabby is that normal? Xx

I know this might sound a bit random but ive actually read on here girls have put cling film around their boobs to shower so they dont get wet but sure you should be fine now if there not open xx

That’s actually a really good idea! I think because scabs have formed I should be okay now. Just double checking, you hear so much information then realise you’ve completely forgotten what you’re supposed to do lol! Thanks for the responses xxxxx

Yes take them of they need to breath lol! Your be surprise when u see them I expecte bright red massive scars but they are only tiny and very neat x
